I did it. Oh my god. I actually finished it. *dies*

Rotoscoping. 971 frames. My hands are ded. 

Based off Sauron’s numerous exploits during the First and Second Age. I’ve been wanting to animate some of this stuff since i read the Silmarillion. Put in some of my fav bits (deflecting lightning off the temple of Numenor like a boss). Also some of my fav FA elves (Finrod, Gil-Galad, Celebrimbor), Elrond (bless his cotton socks) and Beren the Manly Man. 

Also influenced by Phob’s Sauron and her Silmarillion art, which is amazing.
