Our Future

Well I guess someone has to say something a bit more in detail about Sub Verso's status and future endeavors. It might help stop all these offers we keep getting for shows, or questions about our LP we started. We are nothing planning on anything in the near future. Our LP is on hold or may never be completed. We may never play again. None of us know the answers to those questions right now, but what we do know is each of us is very proud and excited by all the side projects we are working on currently. It has brought each of us a new joy in creating music. Jacket Thor is great band, Chris Cappello's New LP is one of the best things I have heard in a while, Crown of Moths & Imaginary Lament Collective are Ian's focus and enjoyment. Breakthrough Frequencies needs another layer to it's music either it's for more effects or another guitarist.

I personally do not wish to continue any longer with Sub Verso even though we started something great, I can not pretend to hide the trama this band has given me in the past. I have to do what's right for me. This band reminds me of things I am not proud of in the past and I rather just leave it all behind where it belongs. No regrets. What I am proud of, is recovering a relationship with a band member and moving forward from it. Humble Moons was a healthy experience to create and record. It is what it is. With that stated, you can see where I stand but never say never. Things change and so do people. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for listening or coming to our shows or purchasing our 10" EP. Thank you all. See you at the shows. - Brian

It’s been 365 days today since the last time I laid my red eyes upon your face and though 52 weeks were erased, nothing has changed. I’ve got my methods to cope. I envision a weapon pressing hard against my throat. I hold my index finger up to my neck and I pretend to pull, but I can’t.

But one day I will be a lonely ghost and my shadow will follow you wherever you go and I’ll haunt those you love and the people who love you the most, provided that you still have anyone around by the time that they bury my body in the ground. I will rise and fly to your town.

It’s been 365 nights since that night, locked in a basement in Delaware blurring my sight and to this day I can’t quite decide if it helped or it hurt. To be honest I shouldn’t feel bad, I’ve had feelings worse. Like the people who’ve died and the friends I’ve denied, you broke my heart but I kept it inside. Now each fragile piece has grown strong with a year of repair. And now nobody, not even you can take me back there.
