Our exciting new EMMA TAYLOR Autumn collection has arrived at Stylegate! We debuted new womenswear brand EMMA TAYLOR this Summer and its first collection was a huge success so we are very pleased with our newest arrivals. EMMA TAYLOR’s AW16 collection is compromised of all your essential Autumnal pieces; from cosy hoodie gowns to cute knitted dresses, smart military tailored skirts to delicate lace embellished jumpers. EMMA TAYLOR’s new pieces are guaranteed to keep you warm and cosy as they are finely manufactured in Tokyo from high-quality wool, cotton and silk, whilst also looking fresh and modern with their on-trend silhouettes. EMMA TAYLOR’s Autumn pieces are cleverly designed to match together perfectly to create a soft and simple yet elegant and poised wardrobe.

Our newest collection at LUREM has arrived and we have some tips on how to best flaunt your new LUREM wardrobe! SS16 has been designed with professional women in mind who work hard towards success whilst also staying fashionable, fun and playful in their lifestyle. For the classy lady who likes to keep things smart we have our co-ordinated summer suits which look great paired together with a crisp shirt for a clean uniform look but can also be mixed and matched with jeans and t-shirts for a more relaxed look. What’s great about our oversized blazer in particular is it’s unique detailing; it comes with a charming matching tassel which you can choose to wear on your lapel.

We have also released a new line of tailored yoke shirts in various pastel shades which look great tucked into a pair of our city shorts but would also be a fun pair with simple chinos or worn under a denim dungaree dress. Our lace shirt could be either worn with a camisole or bra top underneath for a sweet and seductive look or open over a pain vest as pretty detailing for a casual outfit. 

Spring has arrived and here at LUREM boutique so have the first pieces from our newest SS16 collection! For our Autumn/Winter 2015 collection, our Tokyo-based designer Miyuki was inspired by the theme of the ‘handsome lady’; androgynous clothes for the independent urban female. 

We have continued this powerful theme into our Spring/Summer 2016 collection, transitioning from the monochromes of winter into the bright and light hues of spring.

Our newest collection is a refreshing take on workwear which is cool and feminine yet also confident, fresh and full of vitality. Our capsule collection designs have been orchestrated by Miyuki to be co-ordinated, with two-sets that can be worn as a smart pair for the office or mixed and matched in fun and unique ways. 

What we at LUREM pride ourselves in is a dedication to materials and tailoring, and in our newest collection we have created smart silhouettes from light and breezy linens, ginghams, and cottons perfect for keeping cool yet sophisticated in the heat of a London summer. All of our collection is designed and manufactured in Japan, where the quality of fabrics are held in high regard.

Meet Abigail, our AW15 product photo model! Abigail is a new model originally from Liverpool who is soon to start her career as a full-time model in Tokyo, Japan. We loved her striking looks and her Japanese appeal perfectly suits our Tokyo/London collaborative brand image. 

Our AW15 collection is inspired by a ‘no gender’ concept and so our new line consists of androgynous signature pieces constructed from quality materials such as our wool robe coat, clean angular knitwear, and sleek leather patchwork trousers and skirts.   

Team LUREM is like a family, and therefore everyone likes to get involved in a new shoot! Many thanks to our LUREM stylists Dawa, Alex and Yumi. 

We are happy to announce that LUREM will be opening some pop up shops in Japan this month!  We will be exhibiting our new collection in Hankyu Umeda Department store (4th Floor) in Osaka from the 7th to the 13th of October and Yurakucho Marui department store (4th floor) in Tokyo (which has already been open since the 14th September!)

Lucocoa Chocolate is is London's first bean to bar chocolate making company based in North London UK. How’s everyone’s summer been so far? Here at LUREM we love the summer season, although the recent scorching hot weather we’ve been experiencing here in London has left us wishing for a breath of fresh air! It’s refreshing to escape on holiday, and our shop/social media assistant Patience recently travelled to the beautiful countryside of Normandy in France for a truly vintage trip with her twin sister and couldn’t resist bring some of LUREM’s SS15 collection along for the trip! Here’s what she had to say about her summer getaway...

The Normandy region is famed for many things; it’s scenic countryside, delicious rural cuisine and even more delicious apple cider! Most importantly however, Normandy is famed for it’s significance during D-Day in World War II as it’s sandy beaches were once stormed by the Allied soldiers as part of their invasion of occupied France. Normandy pays reverent respect to the lives lost in the battle for liberation against Nazi rule, and this June marked the 76th Anniversary of the D-Day landings. As fervent fans of both cider, vintage and history, my sister and I were eager to join the celebrations and when we arrived in Normandy we were not disappointed! The atmosphere was electric; the streets of Carentan were awash with soldiers, re-enactors and vintage fashion enthusiasts from all over the world! We had a fantastic time and although the weather was a bit on the blustery side, the sun was shining and our Lurem outfits really stood out amongst the poppies and green marshes of the Normandy coast.
