Prowl stopped firing but kept his weapons live. “If you intended diplomatic contact, you would not have dropped a cluster bomb on me. That was a hostile act, so I responded with my own weaponry. What do you want, aside from wasting my time?”
“Ah ah ah,” he waggled a finger at Prowl, “I did not drop it on you. I could have, but I didn’t. Considering who I am - and who you are - this was downright friendly.”
He offered a winning smile, all sharp denta and glinting optics.
“What we all want, I suppose: An end to the war that does not include handing Megatron the universe. And you know what?,” Starscream tapped the side of his nose, “I believe I may have found a way to achieve that.”
