For a moment there was a contemplative pause, a humming thoughtfulness leaving her lips as she absentminded munch of her wand all the while trying search for that perfect word to describe her ‘blushes’ ( Can you even consider it blushing ? )  Then suddenly a smile erupts from her face, happy---excited--- ECSTATIC.

also I’ve been rewatching SVTFOE 

     moving away from the other, he immediately tenses. it was RARE for him to get       this close to a complete STRANGER, let alone have them talk to him like they’ve       been best friends since PRESCHOOL. straightening out a bit, he attempts to       regain a professional atmosphere around himself. 

Her excitement fell all to quickly, expression falling into an unsatisfied expression.  This boy, who ever he is, lacks  the THRILL she was looking for. Star Butterfly pouted, brows knitted together in slight suspicious.                “ You don’t sound like you think it.”

        “ Wow, all my woes and sorrows have magically disappeared. Why haven’t I tried doing this before? My entire world is bright once more, and it’s all thanks to pulling back a couple of muscles in my face. ”  Sarcasm ran deep in his voice, moreso when he belittled a smile as nothing more than a flex of the muscles and a showing of his sharp teeth.

        His false smile faded, and his sarcasm fell.

She did’t like his smile and as his lips curled up into an expression that lacked gusto, her own dampens, brows furrowed and she frowns, the sarcasm that laced his tone of voice didn’t help the case too-- Star Butterfly didn’t ENJOY pessimism and most certainly didn’t know how to  react to it mostly because she didn’t have to deal with genuine alienation--- eccentric as she maybe she got along well with almost everyone. 

            “ Then maybe... ”

Star stared at him for a moment, a rare seriousness drawn across her face--- -Ah! A light bulb of an idea popping inside her head.
