she breathed out a sigh of relief at the sound of her own name, though the red eyes were a bit of a surprise. as was the comment about her just being born. apparently her mother had been affected as well, though a bit less than her father, thankfully. “yes… i know i look… different. try not to breathe if you’re not totally adjusted to the vampire thing yet. i smell kind of human, it really freaked daddy out.” she blurted out quickly, before realizing how confusing this must be. “i can explain, i promise. kind of. i don’t know how we’re here or why everyone remembers different things, but i can explain why i look older and all that.”

her crimson eyes looked to the girl as she spoke. as bella tried to progress all of this information. from the looks of renesmee, she wasn’t born at least a full vampire. though her scent was similar to their scent, with hints of human. she had so many questions, and so little time to ask them. she just wanted to enjoy this moment, this moment with her daughter for a short time. “well please, explain first by what you are? i know from your scent you aren’t fully either of mine and your father’s species.” 

      garrett wasn’t one to attend these things. even his life before, in the era this was popular. he avoided it like some kind of plaque. a sigh escaped his lips, pretending to be such thing as human. his topaz hues boring the various humans unaware. none of them knowing the true monster that was lurking among them. or what he had been able to do. being the loner he was, he stayed away, far from the crowd. just by himself, that was until the person whom was standing in front him appeared. 

Was that [NORMAN REEDUS]? Oh no no, that was just [GARRETT], a [CANON CHARACTER] from [TWILGHT SAGA]. They are [THIRTY] years old and [ARE NOT] aware that they are not actually from Washington DC. Too bad they can’t stray from this city for long.

yes, she had admittedly been staring. amidst all the chaos, she’d scented her mother in the crowd. and the minute she caught the scent, she’d frozen for a moment before sprinting to find the elder woman. when she spotted the familiar brown hair, she froze a second time, hoping and praying that not only was it who she believed it to be, but that bella knew who she was. as the other turned around, renesmee stepped forward. “momma? do you know who i am?”

bella looked to the girl. she had everything she and what she had imagined edward to look like as a human. if she could breath, she knew she would had gasped. but as a vampire, breathing was optional. her dark red eyes, still not adjusting to the animal diet. looked at the girl, her eyes would’ve been filled with tears if possible. “re-renesmee?” she spoke finally, if vampires could go into shock. she would’ve went into shock, that was for sure. “yes, i do. i remember you being born, and then me being changed by your father. then i woke up here.” 

        SEEING BELLA IS A shock to edward. the human , whose blood allures him like no other , should be back in washington state , not here in the white house. yet there she is , standing alone with a cup grasped in her hand. there’s also something strange about her , something so unlike how he remembers her. is she … ? no , she can’t be like them. he’s clearly losing his mind , a product of the panic beginning to ensue in himself after hearing that voice in his head. a projected caution of the dangers about to come.

bella turns to him then , eyes meeting with his golden ones. the vampire is immensely glad that he’s already withholding his breath. he’s unsure about his ability to face the temptation again , if she’s indeed still human as he hopes. unfortunately , the look means that he’s so obviously been spotted & now edward feels the need to warn her before continuing his search to find his family. even though he can’t explain how he’s come into this information with anyone else but the other coven members , he’s hoping that his former classmate would take the advisory in consideration without question.

edward then walks closer to the other , making certain to refrain from taking in a breath. brows furrowed , an edge of concern brushed across his pale features. just before he stops in front of the brunette , renesmee’s words echo in his mind. he ignores it in favor of speaking , however. ❝  you shouldn’t be here.  ❞ his voice is firm , loud enough for hopefully only bella to hear. ❝  you can’t be here. ❞

bella’s eyes looked at him. her still ruby red eyes, as they hadn’t had time to adjust just yet.  she had woken up alone, worried, and concerned about what had happened. to see a familiar face shocked her. bella had believed she had died. that she had given up her life for her daughter. but judging by seeing h i m  , here she knew otherwise. 

as he spoke to her forrowed her brows. confusion taking her over. as she believed when she was ‘reborned’ she and edward were not only married but parents. confusion was a understatement to her. she wasn’t sure what to say, what to do. as either vampires could develope amnesia or something more sinister was going on here....

“what?” was the only thing that could escape her lips. how could h e say she didn’t belong here. where was even here? washington? her crimson eyes focused on his topaz hues. “edward, how- how can you say that?” she mustered up. “we- we’re married, why wouldn’t i belong with you?” she still confused about this. 

attending the event at white house. that was something bella would never be caught dead doing. she hated doing such things. she hated getting dressed up and looking like a pretty package. bella was never that type of girl. many girls loved to do this. bella wasn’t like that....she was different.

she had left her chestnut hair straight. applying no makeup as she liked it. heading out to the event. she had worn a dark as night dress. it made her look slimmer. it made her blend in. she liked blending in. it made all the eyes not be on her. arriving to event. getting herself in the crowded room.
