ˡᵉᵗ'ˢ ᵉᵃᵗ!!!

   Oh, yeah. it could move. She didn’t see the withered bots moving much, so she’d forgotten they could do much besides make… terrifying vocalizations. A few more steps were taken backwards, her back pressing against the door she’d for some reason closed behind her. “Y-yeah, pizza! That’s uh, what we serve! I haven’t got any though, so if you could maybe not come any closer, that’d be great!”

Could Chica even understand her? Or did the older AI only recognize certain keywords? Every word that made it out of the older bot’s broken beak sent waves of fear through Toy Chica’s wires, her hands balling up into fists.

“You… you said something that wasn’t in your word bank a moment ago- can you do that again? Please?” Anything would be better than those age old lines.

Chica halted rather jerkily as Felix’s eyes instinctively narrowed for a moment. He knew the toys were different in some way, he couldn’t... feel anybody haunting the shiny new animatronics. The toys were alive without a soul powering them. Jealously bubbled up in Felix as he reached into Chica’s pre-recorded lines.

“Wh-Wha-at?” Chica’s head tilted unnaturally as her plastic, unblinking eyes remained fixed on her counterpart. “Do-o.” Click. “Yo-o-ou.” Click. “Mea-mean.” Click. “Li-k-ke.” Click. “Thi-i-is?” With every click that came from her voice box Chica’s head twitched slightly. Felix could have gotten the sentence out quicker, but he wanted to have his fun freaking out Toy Chica. He knew he was, after all.

   Urgh. She couldn’t even believe she was going to interact with this junkpile. Just thinking about the thing creeped her out, but… well, she was a Chica too. It couldn’t hurt to try talking, right? She’d just carefully open the door, quietly walk in, and - get caught immediately. The bot flinched as the elder suddenly turned towards her, backing up a little. As if the thing’s looks weren’t unnerving enough, its voice sent a shiver up her metal spine, leaving her unable to speak for but a moment. Right. The older models still used pre recorded voice lines.

“Uh, ahem. Hey, there… Old Chica. I know you’re busy, um… falling apart, or whatever, but… Well, I was thinking, since we’re, y’know, both Chicas, maybe we could just… talk?” Was it too late? To back out, slam the door shut, and head back to the stage? She’d already spoken up, so all signs were pointing to yes, unfortunately for her.

“That is - if you can talk, besides asking kids if they want pizza.”

Felix couldn’t be seen, of course he couldn’t. He wasn’t particularly disappointed at this fact, rather, it made him beam even more. He could do whatever he want, say whatever he want and it would be blamed on Chica, not him. Now, the question was what should he do about Toy Chica?

“P-P-Pizza-za-za?” Chica’s voicebox hissed out as the animatronic walked towards Toy Chica, Felix following right behind her. “Piz-iz-izza!” A static riddled laugh came out of the animatronic, which in turn made Felix giggle right along with her. “I-I-I lo-o-o-ove pizza-a-a! Bu-ut remem-member ki-ids! You sti-still ha-ave to e-e-eat your-ur veggi-gies!”

most of the time, felix is not tangible because a lot of his ‘essence’ is inside of chica, which is how he has control over her. he can easily switch between being seen and being invisible to the normal person no matter what, but he usually doesn’t do that in this state.

Violence and death.

Happy. Happy!

It was a word that Felix was very familiar with over the course of his time spent trapped at Freddy’s. It was the word that had been the basis of his philosophy, the most prominent remnant of his life before it was stripped away. If he remained happy, remained positive, then everything would go right in the end. That’s what his mom told him.

So what if this philosophy drove him to insanely laugh at the guard’s screams before he choked on his own blood? Being forcibly shoved into a suit wasn’t a good way to go, he knew this firsthand, yet he continued to do it to each and every guard he had ever caught.

The replacement was near.

Really, Felix shouldn’t have been surprised when Toy Chica had been created. The original had been shoved into a backroom, and clearly this wasn’t an abandoned pizzeria. If he listened hard enough, he could hear the excited screams of children, and he could remember when he was just like them. Yet, he still was. Anger, envy, and most of all, hate had risen up in him the moment he first saw the plastic mockery of Chica, and in the next, it had died down.

Mom would have been very disappointed in him, she would have said that it’s wrong to feel such a way when he had never really interacted with the other person. So he tried to suppress it. He still felt it.

Those emotions surged him in briefly upon hearing plastic hit the tiles of the pizzeria’s floor, and as soon as he heard it, Felix snapped Chica’s head towards her replacement, his own head mimicking the action.

           If it wasn’t Freddy, it was Chica. And Chica was Felix. Unfortunately.

           Of course, the fox didn’t budge as the child and animatronic practically barged into the cove, not until Felix was rocking in front of him. Unlike the other, Lauren Foxy preferred to keep inside of his body at all times, which likely explained his control over the animatronic he possessed.

            “Ye gotta wait for a new guard to come in first, you bright-eyed rapscallion.” Foxy’s voicebox had a surprising amount of flexibility, but perhaps that could be attributed to making him more pirate-like; the accent certainly didn’t hurt. Still, he did have one thing to ask.

             Tilting his head, the eye patch lifted, revealing his other eye. “What’s got you so excited t’night, Felix?”

“What’s got me so excited?” Felix’s previous giggles finally developed into a full-blown laugh, which made the ghost child’s body quiver in how much he laughed, and laughed, and laughed. He continued to for a moment more, before the cackles died down. Felix took in a deep breath, then returned to the previous conversation. “Well, why wouldn’t I be excited? Someone told me,” his mom had, he had left that out, “that you should always be positive! It always helps in the end! I’m sure being excited is part of that!”

Considering that there was no night guard for them to slaughter at the moment, Felix sat himself down in Pirate’s Cove, mentally beckoning for Chica to move closer to the boy and Foxy. Somehow, the boy’s smile grew wider, and he beamed up at Foxy.

“Ba-Ba-Ba-Balloo-o-o-ons?” Felix had no idea where that particular line came from, or if it even existed, he could add to the animatronic’s wordbank if he tried hard enough, but it was the most appropriate thing he could make Chica say in regards to the balloon vendor.

While Chica hovered over Balloon Boy, Felix stood in front of him, staring right at the balloon held in the small animatronic’s hands. He couldn’t really take the balloon, that would require for him to be more tangible, and that would require leaving the safety of his current vessel. And of course he couldn’t take it with Chica considering the state of her hands, or rather, the lack thereof. Yet he still wanted it.

“F-Foxy!” It‘s hard to get the pre-recorded line out, as it’s one Chica rarely uses during the day. Even though the animatronic trudged towards Pirate’s Cove, Felix bounced along ahead of her, the chicken twitching in response to the ghost almost dragging her along. “F-Foxy!” Chica chirped one more time before falling silent as her beak snapped shut.

The animatronic stilled as Felix reached for the curtains, knowing that any efforts to tug at them would be useless. Even still, he tried to part the curtains, until Chica walked over and violently yanked them open. Felix blinked, not realizing he had subconsciously willed the animatronic to do so. His grin widened, and then he focused his attention onto Foxy.

“W-W-W-W-Well-l hi-i-i-i ther-r-r-re!” That was the most Felix could get out of Chica’s damaged voicebox before all she could emit was a thin hissing noise. As the young boy tilted his head to look at the Mangle, a grin still on his face even as he observed the animatronic’s horrid condition, the chicken animatronic he resided in copied the action.
