Billy!

okay here’s why because this has become a theme again:

Cotton and Maureen WERE having an affair, this was known as true by the end of the movie.

So the plan was wait for Cotton and Maureen to stop doin’ it, then go inside and kill Maureen. Billy and Stu (and by extension Roman) planned it this way so that Cottons DNA would be all over the crime scene. Police would take it as an open and shut case.

Why Billy and Stu COULDN’T have raped Maureen:

Billy and Stu would’ve left their own DNA both on and around Maureen if they raped her, meaning they would get detected and jailed for the crime.

We know Cotton was there right before it happened, so it makes complete sense him and Maureen had just had sex THEN Billy and Stu went inside.

Guys it’s all about the DNA and leaving mass amounts of evidence there. Billy and Stu would’ve been caught if they raped Maureen, especially inside her own household where she was found IMMEDIATELY after the job was done (found from the line “she watched her mom get butchered” in the bathroom scene) Billy and Stu would not have had time to clean anything up after leaving.

. ok so stu and billy live and they both have a lot of scars billy doesn't care but despite how carefree stu acts he's really insecure because the glass ripped up his face and at some point he asks billy if they make him look ugly and unlikeable and billy is like 'dude stfu fr don't FUCKING SAY THAT. stupid butt' and swats his wrist or rolls his eyes or smth and then he realizes stu is being serious and for real and he kisses him all over his face and neck and collarbone and stuff to make him feel better and tells him he's prettyyyyyy

. so like. billy cannot freaking dance not at ALL and he SUCKS. stu tried to teach him once or twice but it didn't work and he just crushed some major toes and they ended up falling over and making out on the floor. but ALSO stu is actuallyquite good at dancing (shocking development) because his parents made him take classes as a kid in some weird effort to be more involved in his life (just made him miserable) + because he refused to do sports cuz he just didn't wanna. he DESPISEDDD the dance classes tho, so much so that he finally gave in and played baseball or some shit. he was good at the dancing though

. stu sleeps crraaaazzzyyy,,, floppin about and all that. like, rolling and snoring with his mouth WIIIDDEEE open (catching flies and such) and he's getting drool everywhere,, and billy sleeps like a stick. like. just stays in one place and sometimes when stu wakes up in the middle of the night to pee he genuinely thinks billy's dead because he's so rigid. NOWWWW,, most of the time billy sleeps like that, but on random nights (like once a month or so) he's just as loud and obnoxious as Stu,, flopping and snoring and all of it, but just for one night and then he goes back to being a log and it eternally bewilders stu

. when Billy gets mad he sometimes starts yelling some genuine bullshit and doesn't really think it through and he's just like "WELL!!!! I LIKE GIRLS NOW!!!! SO. HAH." and stu will pause his complaining and look him directly in the eye, go dead silent for a second, and they say something like "girl we both know youre lying." and billy will either a.) loudly sigh and give him the silent treatment, or b.) reluctantly agree and give him the silent treatment
