It's my 7 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳 Had I not abandoned my first blog, This anniversary would read fourteen. Time is a construct, An idea created by man to mark lines in the sand, and say: Here we are. I left, but I haven't gone anywhere. Home is where the heart stays I see the world's cold shoulder, It's everywhere, it's nowhere. It's the electricity kept away It's the pipes that collect Poor, rich, near shore, in store collections worthy and unworthy experiences to cry, experiences to dry Romance lies not between skin and sword Life lies between fingers and keyboard

at times the wheel feels dried out

worn over, spun around, turned an eternal drain

but then the screen brings mysteries

facts and untruths, yet grounded and real

can the imagination create desire?

or must the real always rely upon the mythic

the screen aches for no one
