the way people talk about gay men as pure hypotheticals in petty fandom discourse gets really funny to me at a certain point. “gay men dont have fixed top/bottom preferences in real life it’s so stupid that people will get picky about that in fanfiction” What. That just isn’t true.

i know everyone hates people pleasers because they’re spineless and you can’t trust them. I also know that the only way i can get people to tolerate me being around them is to fawn and indulge because if i don’t then they’ll hate me. everyone hates me regardless of what i do at least if i sit at someone’s feet and tell them they’re right for long enough i can make them happy for a little bit even if they get sick when they realize what i really am

i’ve always kind of worked with the mindset that one day i’ll be able to make something that’s good enough that everyone will like me and want to be my friend despite everything else about me and also reassure me that it was worth it to stay alive that i was able to actually offer something. i’m mostly just writing it down so i can understand just how stupid it is and that it’s never happening

i didnt even realize how horrifically this site has impacted me until i realized after spending over an hour unable to fall asleep because of mental loops confirming every way in which i am a horrible and bigoted person that that is part of the ocd lol. I really need to stop reading posts for a whileee.
