2:39in the morning. You were tired. You were looking like trash. You werepissed. However, you still unlocked the door to the house of mirrorsyou worked in at the harvest fair of your small town. It wasn’t thebest job ever. The paying was low and your boss was a douche, but youneeded the money. But why were you working at 2:39 am? Well, yourboss is such a big bag of d*cks that he didn’t want to give you afree day to enjoy the harvest fair without working in the night incompensation.

Witha loud groan you took the cleaning things and started cleaning themirrors. And there are a lot of them… After a few minutes you beganto sing to lighten your mood and don’t get bored. The first song,which came to your mind, was Mirrors by Justin Timberlake, obviously.Sadly you didn’t know all lines and stopped midway through thebridge.

Silence.

Theonly noise you could hear was the squeak the glass made while youwhere scrubbing it with the cloth in your hand. After a few moreminutes you recognized your reflection in the mirrors. You  didn’tpay attention to it because you were too tired, but when you saw howmessy you looked you sighed. Out of nowhere Reflection from Disney’sMulan popped up in your head.

“Lookat me,I will never passfor a perfect bride, or a perfect daughter.Canit be,I’m not meant to play this part?”

Itwasn’t like your parents would care if you get married or not and youdidn’t act like someone else, but while you where looking at themirrors in the middle of the night you got a… sad mood? Thefeelings overcame you in this moment.

“NowI see, that if I were truly to be myself,I would break myfamily’s heart.”

Melodramaticallyyou danced from one mirror to another and wiped the cloth over them.

“Whois that girl I see, staring straight back at me?Why is myreflection someone I don’t know?Somehow I cannot hideWho Iam, though I’ve tried.When will my reflection show, who I am,inside?Whenwill my reflection show, who I-”

CRASH.

Youheard a loud noise and immediately screamed and turned around to seethe danger.

“Ignoreme, I didn’t see anything.”,a male voice stumbled. You looked around and saw someone hidingbehind a corner. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.”

“Stuart?”You couldn’t really identify this person, but you could swear, youknow this voice and the only person, who came into your mind, wasStuart Twombly, the boy from your chemistry class, who always made asarcastic comment during the lesson and acted like he is thesmartest. “What the hell are you doing here?”

“Okaylisten”, he started and came out of his hiding spot, “Iknow it’s 3 in the morning, but I can’t find my cat. Didyou saw him?”

“No,sorry.” You put your hand on your chest because your heart wasstill raising.

“Crap.I just saw him running into this area, but I lost him and now hecould be anywhere”, Stuart sighed and you could see his worry allover his face. “Could you maybe help me?”

“Youscared the sh*t out of me and now you want me to help you? I don’tknow. Besides, I need to clean every single mirror and the floor…”

“Whatif you’ll help me finding my cat and I’ll help you cleaning up? Isthat alright for you, princess?”You frowned. Princess? Where did that come from?

"Princess?"

"You were singing Mulan, weren't you?" A short, quite chuckle came out of your mouth.

"Mulan isn't a princess, idiot." Embarrassed he looked away and mumbled an "oh". He cleared his throat and asked again, if it's okay for you to help each other.

“Uhm…yeah, sure.” He smiled. You tried to remember, if you ever saw himsmiling, and blushed.

“I’drather face a vampire after I cut myself shaving than deal with aspider.““Never.Do that. Again.”“Isthat alright for you, princess?”

“Ohmy-! F*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck! Go Away! Please leave me alone! Holysh*t!”, you shouted between high pitched screams. A giant blackspider crawled down its freaking thread right next to you. Youimmediately freaked out and jumped into the next corner.

“Why…?”,you whined. You just wanted to brush your teeth and now you had toface this monster.

Ina split second Stiles and Scott sprinted into the bathroom.

“Ohmy god, (Y/N)! What’s happening? Are you o-” Stiles stopped and wastotally confused when he saw you there armed with a toilet brush.“What are you doing?”

Scottlooked around and searched the cause of your fear, but couldn’t findanything. Without words you pointed to the spot in front of the sink,where the spider was crawling, with your trustful sword.

Stilesshook his head in disbelieve. “Wait, you shout the whole house downbecause of a tiny spider? WE THOUGHT YOU ARE DYING!”

“IAM DYING RIGHT NOW! It will bite and kill me!”, you yelled back,never taking the eyes off of the ugly thing in front of you.

“Youface werewolves without flinching, but you can’t face a spider?”,Scott asked while looking between the spider and you.

“I’drather face a vampire after I cut myself shaving than deal with aspider.”

“Ohyeah, because this thing is so big.”

“Comeon, Stiles. Everyone has a stupid fear”, Scott said to come to yourdefense.

“Yes,at least I don’t faint when I see a needle.” You stuck out yourtongue to Stiles, but directly looked back to the spider.

Stilessighed. “This is getting ridiculous. I take the spider and put itoutside. Is that alrightfor you, princess?”

Younodded and watched him taking the spider onto his hand, while hetalked to it like someone would talk to a baby.

“Okay,and now- No! What are you doing! Stop!”, you screamed while Stilesstepped to you with the spider in his hand. At first you sunk to theground, but when he was too close you jumped on your feet and hid behind Scott. Stiles started laughing, whereas Scott crossed his armsand shook his head. “Come on, buddy. It’s enough.”

“Never.Do that. Again.”

“Sorry”,Stiles apologized still laughing. “I put it outside.”

WhileStiles went out next to you you turned Scott that he’s always betweenyou two.

“Ihate you”, you moaned quietly to Stiles and clung to Scott’s flannel.

“Don’t worry. I know what I’m doing.”

“Next you’re going to tell me that that kiss meant nothing.”

“We have a plan. We just don’t know what it is yet.”

"I’d rather face a vampire after I cut myself shaving than deal with a spider." 

“Can you stop saying stupid things?” 

“I actually thought I could count on you.”

“So you thought what we had was a joke?”

“I like you for a lot of reasons. Too many for my own good.”

“I’m not very good when it comes to relationships.”

“You, me, date, Friday. Pick me up at six. Okay bye!”

“You are a real asshole, did you know?“

“Now that should go on Instagram.”
