Ever since I destroyed my brand new J.Crew messenger bag with a fountain pen, I've been anti ink. Trying to rid myself of pen and paper has been super simple, and it's a lot faster since I don't have to deal with postage or fax machines anymore. My life is awesome. 

So here's what I do.

First, you'll need to download UPAD. I've tried the other alternatives and there's no other app that comes close to the speed and functionality of this app. 

Second, pick up a Pogo Sketch Stylus. This is the stylus sold by Apple, but they don't have it on the floor. You'll have to ask someone to go get you one in the back, or just order it online. 

You can use UPAD to fill out job applications, HR forms for when you get hired (because your prospective employer will be blown away by your technological prowess on the job app), and for the stack of papers handed to you in meetings. I just always ask for the PDFs when I get the email scheduling the meeting.

I haven't tried this app out but Easy Release looks like a great way to keep all your photo release forms in one place and subjects can fill out the form right on your iPad:

To begin, go to Settings->Accessibility and turn VoiceOver on

Once you have the book open, triple click your home button to bring up the accessibility menu (make sure you have your triple home button action set to “ask” in the settings).

Tap “Turn VoiceOver On”.

Tap once on the text area of the book.

Tap and drag down with two fingers to start auto-reading.

Now your book will start being read to you via your iPhone’s text-to-speech system.

To stop or pause the reading, tap with two fingers on the screen.

To exit VoiceOver, triple-click the home button.

Tap once on the “Turn VoiceOver Off” button.
