Lal is a whole ass Green National Park Forest who isn’t pushy, respects boundaries, and cares about Wine from the top of her head, to the tips of her toes. Her love languages are cooking and Acts of Service; she loves to show people she cares about by helping them before helping herself. She definitely fell first.

Wine is attentive to Lal if she isn’t feeling okay. She’s always reliable. Dutiful. Safe. And very protective of Lal. Her love language is definitely Quality Time. Yes, she may have walls due to trauma (rightfully so), but Lal is the one person to show her she doesn’t have to feel afraid anymore. She fell harder.

Their healthy communication felt like a hug. The “you’re my safe space.” line?! EVERYONE deserves to hear that in their lifetime. Neither of them were afraid to show their weird side. They were both courageous enough to show each other their mess, as well as their magnetic magnificence.

And the fact that I not only saw MYSELF in Lal, (the person who always takes care of everyone else, and says “she’s fine” when she’s really not) but Wine, (the attentive, caring partner who says “she’s doesn’t know how to take care of someone let alone herself; being alone would be easier because of trauma of not knowing how to love someone else.”) as well?!
