once you stop fantasizing about that ideal version of yourself and start working towards becoming that person by setting your alarm clock earlier and actually going to the gym and actually volunteering at places and actually eating healthier and not procrastinating and working just a little bit harder you’ll realize that it was so easy all along. becoming your ideal self will only ever exist in your mind until you make the decision to work towards becoming that person. get up!! get going!! it’s now or never!! there is no light at the end of the tunnel!! get that flashlight and pave your own path bitch bc no one else is going to do it for u!!

Aren’t you supposed to be studying?

do you ever get this sudden urge to learn?? not study for the test you have tomorrow, not memorize flashcards, but go out in the world and absorb all the information there is in it. I sometimes get this deep sense of doom because I know I will never be able to learn everything there is to know and I just want to feel my thirst for knowledge sated for once but school gets in the way with all sorts of useless information and I want to cry out of sheer frustration do you see my problem here?

People don’t hate math. They hate being confused, intimidated, and embarrassed by math. Their problem is with how it’s taught.

as a humanities lover who’s doing STEM in college, i will yell this off of the rooftops, bad teachers ruined math for me and after getting a good, encouraging, sweet math teacher i now have a relationship with math and i love doing it! i may not be the best but i’m intersted in getting better at it and that ladies and gents is what’s most important in education
