I attempted this yellow V6 route because the holds seemed fun, and lasted about 2 seconds on the wall before promptly falling off. You start off with your hands on two holds pulling apart, as if you were trying to keep an elevator door from closing, which I was not capable of doing for very long at all. (Fun fact: This move is also known as a Gaston, named after the French climber Gaston Rébuffat)
Does anyone know what a Crag is??? My SO gifted me a climbing journal this last Christmas and it’s been teaching me all kinds of climbing terminology I never knew existed til now, but some things even Google doesn't know :(
Thankful for the chalk crumbs from fellow climbers
Despite being responsible enough to have bought my own chalk ball since getting a climbing membership last week, I have since forgotten it the last three times I’ve had the chance to bring it with me. I’ve also managed to lose the two chalk bags I’ve had the privilege of owning since I started climbing on and off six years ago, collateral damage from moving around and trying new gyms wherever I go.
