I had fun finally finishing up my last BOTM just because I really enjoyed looking through blogs so I’m going to do a super informal awards thing here. So informal, in fact, that I’m typing this on mobile and don’t have a graphic. Unfortunately this means I also can’t do a read more.

Important to note:

1. Winners are no “better” than other entrants. They’re just blogs that particularly stood out to me who I want to recognize.

2. I will probably follow a lot of you, so it isn’t a fool’s errand to enter. Also don’t feel bad if you’re not a “big” studyblr I honestly have no idea what that even means and I’ll look at your blog objectively I promise

3. I’m not doing this to rank studyblrs I honestly want to see new/more blogs and why not have the added benefit of giving some of you atta boys/girls?

Happy trans visibility day!

Here’s a compilation of some trans student/lgbt scholarships I’ve come across for all you trans students out there. It’s also quite helpful to apply to scholarships of something you identify with from major to ethnicity to sexual orientation, etc because the applicant pools are significantly smaller. It isn’t much but I hope these help c:

Trans Student Educational Resources 

They give 4 scholarships ranging from $500-$2000!

To be eligible you must be trans and enrolled in a USA college/university

The current application cycle’s just closed but to get updates on scholarships available follow there facebook, twitter, or tumblr 

Pride Foundation

There are 50 scholarships available of varying amounts but the huge plus point is that you can apply to however many amounts of scholarships you’d like with 1 application. 

They are broken down into areas of studies from Music-Medicine and by race (some specific scholarship for trans poc!)

To be eligible you must be part of the LBGTQ community + some more eligibility reqs doe certain scholarships 

Human Rights Campaign

There are 100s of scholarships available and they’re broken down by state

Specific eligibility reqs are different for each scholarship, but it’d only available to student going to or in USA colleges/universities. 

Unigo LGBT Scholarships

There are 100s of lgbt centric scholarships available on this scholarship masterpost site.

Eligibility varies from scholarship to scholarship; some are trans only scholarships, poc trans scholarships, other open to lgbtq people, etc

Some scholarships are available to non US students!

Some other scholarships

League Foundation lgbtq scholarship- open to lgbtq identify seniors in the USA with a 3.0 cumulative gpa or higher 

Live Out Loud scholarship - open to lgbtq youth pursuing a college degree in the tri state area (NJ, NY, CT). 3 scholarships worth $10,000 each will be awarded

The NGPA Education Fund- open to lgbt identifying people going to aviation school. over 81,000 in aviation scholarships are available. 

Point Foundation- must be lgbtq identifying and be applying/transferring or in a 4 year USA university. Multiple awards are given out of varying amounts.
