Keep Up the Good Work
Today was a great day! Training is hard work and today we worked hard.
Russ is recovering well from his shoulder injury. The heavy weights are coming back in a strong way. He made gains today and continues to make real progress.
Dana made great gains as well. A new personal record bench press puts her one pound from her next goal. She hopes to cross that threshold before the APC Georgia State competition in March. She is hoping to win, set a new record, and qualify for Nationals.
Training is not all that's going on. Cutting weight for their weight classes is in full swing. Eating healthy and getting enough protein are top of mind. No more Finnish pastries or any other kind for that matter for a while. With only 9 weeks till competition, every day counts toward making weight. With new weight classes in sight for Worlds, proper dieting is key.
While on the subject of eating properly, please remember your local food pantry. Supporting them will help many families and children to get much needed healthy meals.
