It literally didn’t even process. I saw a pic of him, read the caption, liked the post and kept scrolling until it registered in my brain that I had just read the words “rest in peace” and even then I assumed it was a joke/hoax

This goes without saying I hope everyone in Pearl Jam is okay, Chris was like family to them especially Matt who was ON TOUR with him as this happened and man this is too much, i mean my point was I just want Pearl Jam to be okay eventually even though it’ll hurt right now and if it hurts too much for them to make music soon I get it, I just want everybody to be okay, maybe they can heal and find things that’ll help, this goes for Kim and Ben too and Chris’ family I just hope that they all have a support system and that there’s brighter, happier days ahead despite this
