Small things Iâve been doing to instantly feel more feminine and glamourous:
Folding my hands in my lap when I sit. Donât wring your hands, just place them gently in your lap. Think how a queen or princess sits
Smirk. Just a little bit. Not good at keeping a small smile on your face? Think of something that you know, that no one else in the room knows. Youâve got a secret and itâs worth smiling over
Keeping a portable hobby in my bag so that I never am sitting there waiting. Doesnât matter if itâs a book, a journal, sketchbook embroidery, knitting work, ect⌠Anything that makes you happy and can keep you busy, but is also easy to take with you everywhere
Lowering the volume of my voice. What you have to say is worth hearing, so make people actually listen. One of my favorite feelings is when I lower my voice and everyone turns to pay attention, and leans in to listen
Saying âsirâ âmissâ and âma'amâ. Treat others with the same respect you want to be treated with, it gives them the cues on how to address you and how to treat you
Things I Want to Do/Learn How to Do
-Send off letters/invitations on beautiful stationery with elaborate wax seals
-Bake desserts for loved ones
-Make homemade organic soaps
-Knit/crochet blankets and other things to gift to people, heavily pray over the items as I make them
-Embroider beautiful patterns onto different canvases
-Grow a small vegetable and herb garden, cook with those ingridients often
-Collect small devotionals, bibles and notebooks from thrift stores to gift to people
-Make jams/jellies/preserves out of fresh in season fruit
-Bake bread
-Aromatherapy
-Give my partner proper massages
-Make baskets out of the items I make and give them to others on special occasions or just to show them I love them
-Cook a large, hearty meal for my friends and family
-Put together small events for local charities
-Teach other young women what Iâve learned when I become good at it.

ways to be more ladylike
- smile at strangers
- avoid cursing
- be kind to others, but especially other women! nobody likes a girl who is constantly putting other girls down
- try to incorporate more dresses & skirts into your everyday outfits if you donât already
- write thank you notes
- sit with your knees together and your ankles crossed
- donât gossip, itâs unkind
- be positive & look for beauty in everything. donât put yourself, or others, down.
- always choose dressing up over dressing down
- focus on your posture
- say please and thank you
- keep your voice gentle (and especially try not to speak over others)
- avoid being attention seeking
- in general, try to stay classy and feminine while still staying true to yourself!

I want a home mostly just to welcome people into it. There will be bowls of candy for guests, and the cookie jar is full. Iâll always say âI was just about to make a coffee/tea/cocoa, would you like one?â when somebody walks in. Thereâs lemonade and iced tea made fresh on hot days. Once it hits That Hour and they start saying they really should be going, Iâll remind them that the futon is always open, and Iâm making cinnamon rolls tomorrow. Thereâs champagne and sparkling juice hidden on a high shelf just in case somebody announces their engagement or their pregnancy or their new job while theyâre here. There is an extra chair in the living room, at the table, and on the deck, and itâs for you. I want to be able to say âif youâre ever in trouble, come to me.â

When I share posts from the Tradfem community such as stay at home wife, the husband leads the household, traditional gender roles ect, ect Iâm posting it for myself because they are beliefs pertaining to me. I WANT to be a stay at home wife/mum. I want my future husband to lead the home and family. Iâm a egalitarian I believe in equality and choice. I want women to live their lives the way they want. When I post such âold fashionedâ or âtraditionalâ things itâs only my wants for myself no one else.
i donât think trad is a thing you just are. i think itâs something to aim to be. not everyone will have all the same values, wear all the same things, consider being feminine/masculine the same way others do. itâs just something to strive to be , and everyday when you wake up you might be a little better at being it. people in the community shouldnât shame a man because he isnât masculine or doesnât have a good job yet. they shouldnât shame women for wearing things other than dresses or not being completely dainty and pure. trad should be a community that helps each other out and realizes that no one is 100% âtraditionalâ in the sense that we all want to be. itâs an everyday process of learning, living, making new rules and habits, growing up, and making mistakes.

youâre in your late-20âs, early-30âs; youâre married and have two young kids. together, you live in a large house in the countryside. the house could use renovating, but it doesnât need it.
wildflowers grow all over your large property. bees buzz by, but never sting. they make honey for your family to sell and enjoy.
in your backyard is a garden. you and your spouse wear overalls and bandanas while you harvest the fruits and vegetables youâve worked so hard on; you sell whatever you donât eat.
next to the garden is a pasture: you raise cows, bunnies, sheep, and chickens. youâve taught your children to collect eggs every morning, while you and your spouse milk the cows.
although you have technology, wifi, and service, your family doesnât rely on it for entertainment and communication. you play board games, read books, and write letters.
your house is your own. you fall asleep in the arms of the person you love, happily content with life.

đĽ savory cottagecore is underrated !! đĽ
eating vegetable stew out of little wooden bowls, sitting outside as the weather grows colder and a snail inches towards you
walking through the dirt barefoot, growing pumpkin plants that twist their stems around themselves in a self-embrace
collecting acorns and listening to the west wind
life isnât all apple pie and honey, when we let the savory flavors trickle in everything will get a lil sweeter
As a child from a family with âtoo manyâ kids, I get super annoyed when media protrays having three or more kids as chaotic hell for parents. Seriously, if you teach them well enough, your kids are not gonna be the screeching, messy monsters you see on TV. And SERIOUSLY parents shouldnât hate having kids. That is awful.
