BNMHA Silliness.

As a young one coming up through the world of fanfiction, I remember many wonderful writers talking about these nebulous things called “Plot Bunnies.” They sounded cute. They sounded funny. They featured in hilarious post chapter notes that treated the fourth wall like an inside joke. I maybe even liked them.

And then I started writing.

And then I realized that these little balls of thought-fluff are legion and they have fangs. They multiply at a cyclic rate, each with their own insatiable hunger for your meager attention span. No matter how many you try to appease there are five more queuing up to take their place.

Jiro- “So, you invited them out to ‘Girl’s Night’ for Mina’s birthday?”

Ochako- “Yup.”

Jiro- “And you didn’t explain to them that ‘Girl’s Night’ was like, just a name? Not a mandatory dress code?”

Ochako- “How was I supposed to know this would happen?!”

That look you get, when you’re just trying to do your friend a solid and watch the bookstore for him, but then That Alpha comes storming through the door and ruins your reading.
