A lineless drawing of Mirage - one of my lions on Lioden. This was really refreshing to paint, I would def recommend it to anyone who has time. It was done with a single round brush with a bit of texture on only 1 layer (except for the dots because I was afraid of messing that up)

I’ve been away from Lioden for a year and a half. I don’t know if the Maltese-base lioness with Starshine eyes and no family tree I just claimed in Explore was supposed to be there, or if she’s a glitch and I’ll lose her tomorrow. I can’t get attached to her just yet.

@ajellyinthemix Not strict. More like no maroon and cinnabar like you mentioned. Also gonna try to keep away from onyx and stuff. Think I'll stick to brown, cream, gold-ish, grey and white colors in my lions. I'm not gonna use the gold bases though because they're way too bright and I don't like them personally. :p there are enough natural-looking gold-ish and cream bases on the site that do look pretty imo~ Tl;dr: not strict! c:
Furvilla would actually be an interesting economic case study. Unlike other sites like Neopets, Flight Rising, Gaia Online, etc, upon launch it already has a number of career options – options that are not immediately profitable because the rely on raw materials that have yet to be gathered in sufficient numbers by explorers.
I’m thinking back to my AP Human Geography class and talks about division of labor; that you need the bulk of your population doing physical labor to begin with in a civilization, and once it gets to the point there is enough food stocked, you start to see more and more specialized forms of labor, and eventually math develops, writing develops, art develops, etc.
But the weird thing about FV is that by starting by giving everyone all options, you see why the foundational work force is so important. You need the explorers, then the first tier of crafters who work with raw materials, and then the next tier of crafters who use materials made by the first tier, etc etc.
And, of course, there’s the issue of not enough warriors who are equipped to fight, thus yields for gathering and growing are lower, which means we also need more warriors to ‘protect’ explorers.
So, basically, if you want the economy to stabilize and to be able to make a profit from crafting careers, you should probably switch to warrior or explorer for a few days and then move back to crafting once the market has enough items to support your career.

cub training ramblings
As soon as the cub training feature was released, we were told that raising the cub training exp bar to 100% would be really easy. I looked forward to using this feature and I still really like it. But I’ve never actually managed to get the bar to 100% by the time my cub ages into an adult. I’m now furiously trying to train a cub I really love. She’s 1 year and two months old and her bar is at 31%, which is the highest I’ve ever raised said bar. I think that’s because I don’t have the time to send my lionesses on their maximum amount of hunts per day. I might still make it if I send that adolescent on a few more hunts per day, but idk if I can do that. :’)

Ah, yes. A new user on the site who doesn’t know how Lioden works sends you a message asking how old a cub of yours will look in the future, probably not knowing that the Wardrobe is a thing that exists.
How about you don’t be a dick and politely point them in the right direction? Helping people is a much nicer feeling than coming to the confession blog to call some newbie ignorant.
