In our culture, Kurdish/turkish culture, the night before a wedding, you traditionally do a kına gece which is like another wedding guised under an engagement party but considering the mourning period we’re having, it seems incredibly classless to act like this and even if both sides weren’t mourning, they’re still doing so much that’s considered shameful in our culture and it’s frankly so tacky

And to top it off, her groom’s father is dying of pancreatic cancer as we speak, it’s so classless to wear a see through tight body con and dance halay with full volume speakers when the rest of us are mourning

If I had done what she does, basically twerking in front of 60 year old male relatives, they’d beat my ass and never forget it either but when she does it? Great I guess

Honestly it’s shameless, that’s what this is

Im in my cousin’s engagement party and honestly all I can say is, how classless can you be? Isn’t it incredibly tone deaf to throw a whole party the day after your grandmother passed? And they dare judge me for not wearing makeup when they act this classless?
