-VIDEOS-

1 - archive 1 technically starts out with '1', or 'Roblox Mortal Kombat', also uploaded on the recallahollowheart youtube channel (i'm gonna go over the readme later). i'm trusting the last modified dates as being authentic to the timeline itself, so the earliest point in this is september 28, 2009. such fun :] (the influence tower can be seen in it at some point but that's the only lore-relevant thing in the video. really goes to show its...influence...)

2 - after this is '2', or 'Top 20 Godzilla Monsters!'. i feel that zombie (zombiegojira) made this video, as he seems to be the one who makes all of the...windows movie maker? videos (not sure if it's actually wmm but y'know, it just feels like he does those edited/compilation videos.) and besides it features godzilla monsters which seem to be a big interest of his :v. upload date is september 30, 2009, so two days after '1' / 'ROBLOX Mortal Kombat'. more fun, unless there's something secret in it that i haven't noticed >.<

3 - '3' is a video on the "midnight tower" structure in roblox. the video was made/edited by zombie, so i feel that lends more credence to him being the one to make all of the other edited videos, as opposed to someone like lucazT93 or killermastez or whoever else. it was uploaded october 13, 2009, 13 days after '2'.

SOMETHING TO NOTE: in the recently found/connected channel bandicolt (who's channel is explained in more detail on fliesofthelord's tumblr), there is a video called 'forum folder' where it captures people talking about real world 'hell towers', and one of the commenters is one 'Zombie Gojira' who mentions that he "uploaded a video about it..." seemingly referring to '3'.

hell towers and midnight towers are both likely the influence showing up everywhere. hell towers seem to be yet another thing created by this arg, based on a quick duckduckgo search not pulling up anything. 'midnight towers' is just the name that zombie and others (probably ogs from anti-night, so probably lucaz (lucazT93) and killer (killermastez)) came up with for the influence.

SOMETHING TO NOTE 2: there is actually a zombiegojira youtube channel, it was made at a similar time as his actual roblox account. nothing's on it though, but maybe stuff like videos '2' and '3' were uploaded on it back in the day in canon :p

4 - '4' contains the three original anti-night members discussing the influence tower in SFOTH. this could be seen in '1', due to them filming some of their video in the game. perhaps they noticed it there and came back to try and figure out what was up with it.

"Maybe its like a halloween thing," i assure myself. i was then shot 40 times

when the influence makes noises before turning the world to black (eclipsing it i guess), it could have some kind of code. maybe. i dunno @_@

FIRST VIDEO CUT: (03:12) - cuts to black then footage appears again. it doesn't seem to skip much time, it just goes from killer announcing he needs to get off to him doing so. aghh it feels kinda tragic to think that his mom telling him to get off was like the main thing saving him from later spiraling like his friends did...

SECOND VIDEO CUT: (03:17) - doesn't have any transition, but it goes to just lucaz and zombie exploring. it's probably only a few minutes after killer leaves.

"This is so cool" does he know?

THIRD VIDEO CUT: (03:18) - flashes a bright white image then cuts to more exploring. what's shown in it is a glitchy duplicated image of zombie's avatar in game. probably just an inverted image of their in-game footage since it's so dark otherwise.

they find the portal in the middle of the map which resembles the one in '6 Reupload Attempt'. maybe the place they go to when going through it here is the same place they go to when going through it in that video? it probably wouldn't be different. this seems to be their first time actually exploring it. also another instance of zombie's chivalry towards lucaz ("ladies first"), how polite of him!

FOURTH VIDEO CUT: (04:15) - seems to show glitched out chat logs (probably what they were saying right before), cuts to black, then cuts to more exploring. the two may have been there for a few minutes (or maybe longer) before the footage cuts back to them.

the cut seems to happen right when lucaz is about to enter the portal? also i dunno what sounds plays during it, kinda sounds like an engine revving though.

the long pathways feel like something that dragondudes3 has gone on before, but i'll have to go over some recallahollowheart vids again to verify that.

there's distinct quiet noises at like (05:47) but i have no idea what they are or could be hiding.

"guess they've been there" who is zombie referring to? or what? the influence? first time i noticed that @_@

aghh dude what if they had tried to like...walk on the railing instead of jump in...instead they got the stars...zombie's roblox ui almost seems to fall with him, which is a cool touch. interesting thing to note is that zombie seems to be the one who primarily records and edits videos. maybe that was his role in anti-night while lucaz ran other stuff. we never really see anything directly from lucaz.

the date for this is october 23, 2009, so ten days afer '3', zombie's video on the midnight towers

okay folks before video 5 we're gonna look at some TEXT FILES!!! since that's how it goes chronologically

-TEXT FILES 01-

JohnXavierDonovan + LucasAtlasTorrence: both JohnXavierDonovan (zombiegojira) and LucasAtlasTorrance (lucazT93) seem to detail their experiences/recollections post-falling into that void area. it seems like they get sorta blasted with information like dragondudes3 did in the library with l'ankou? anyhow, lucas seems to be WAY more affected than john. these files are "written" just a day after their inital exploration, so on october 24, 2009. i feel like there could be an actual explanation for their existence, like the two legitimately took time to write about their situation, but i also feel like these could've "manifested" somehow, i dunno.

lucas's writing feels vaguely reminiscent of ajar and even l'ankou. it feels like the influence has...influenced them in a way similar to those characters. though lucas and john aren't direct manifestations of it, its knowledge seems to have merged with them a little bit. lucas' writing about computers and connections feels like it could be seen as a reflection on his interactions with others online, considering that zombie and killer are his online friends. there is a certain immortality to online activity which he describes. but there's a fragility to that; if nobody remembers your presence, then it's as if you don't exist. this seems to be the main fear that lucas has after exploring the eclipsed SFOTH.

while lucas seems to have dived head first into the influence, it feels like john is trying his best to ignore it. lucas analyzes online connection with interest, while john shows fear of it, probably not wanting to interact with the influence further, which he has come to know best online.

"[avoidance, essentially] is the answer but that doesn't mean it's gone." is the main thing emphasized here. he knows he can't escape his role in this. both the lack of and abundance of information makes it stick in his head like glue.

"Did Lucas and I see the same thing?" i uh...i don't know buddy. i don't think we know what they saw this first time but whatever it was, it seems to have been more severe for lucas than it was for john. it's interesting to note that john still has lucas in mind while lucas is much more absorbed in his analysis, further showing that seperation. i guess it could be tied to their timing of when they jumped into the void area, among other unknowable things. maybe also lucas being the founder and john being the co-founder of anti-night. i dunno >_<

-VIDEOS (just video '5')-

5 - anti-night introduction/recruitment video. perhaps this is how flies, katanas, scramble, vanity, data, etc. found out about them and joined. audio seems kinda glitchy, which is a bit ironic. made on october 25, 2009, one day after the text files, two days after '4'. perhaps that stuff was a call to action for lucaz and zombie to recruit people. it seems like they're able to keep some stability despite what they might've saw and wrote about. zombie probs edited it together :p

-TEXT FILES 2-

WanderingThoughts - "millions of things at once..." so yeah they probs got information blasted, maybe with just general knowledge, idk. i kinda feel like this was written by lucaz? i dunno. it could maybe be zombie too. or even someone else, but it feels most appropriate if it were one of them. i don't think it can be proven who wrote it. just wondering what "it" is...likely the influence, but i am curious about specifics. it held a heart...and the person is trying to recall it...recallahollowheart.....made on october 27, 2009, two days after '5'.

README - this was probably written last in-canon, but katanas' edits makes it appear later in the actual dates, showing the date as april 15, 2012. "I don't want to be forgotten." written by lucas...so this is how killer becomes the owner, very official, very legit. wish we knew the original date of this, but i assume it's after the stuff in '4', but probably before lucaz's and zombie's further exploration in archive 2. "something bad is about to happen" would indeed be accurate for those following events. i wonder if killer ever logged into their accounts. i wonder if katanas did...

it's kinda funny imagining dragon (assuming dragon is being referred to as 'DD3' by katanas) going through this and katanas just showing up like "lucas john and vance are the original members btw". i suppose killer has a good amount of trust in katanas in order to let him edit all of the stuff? i wonder how much of this was shared with dragon, like just the readme or the actual files. when would this have happened? maybe after he got into anti-night? which means he might've known about this stuff earlier than some of the older anti-night members, based on one of flies' tumblr posts talking about a split between people who did and didn't know. maybe i'm misinterpreting it though, i dunno. but katanas and killer would have had the full story on their founders. it gives them an interesting role in the story, particularly katanas considering he seems to be an average member otherwise. side note, i kinda feel like katanas was the one who archived the mortal combat video, just going off of the youtube description for it. it fits his role as an archivist. maybe he was like the 4th oldest member. dunno.
