Harry was always the STAR - and that was not acceptable or part of MM’s plan, so Harry had to be taken down so she could be #1, but she needs to stay married to him for his contacts - so she has destroyed him in the process of being the star of the show, but in her head she can still use his name and his family to open doors for HER.

She is 95 years of age and is still classed as “vulnerable” to Covid in the UK. Royal Ascot is part of a large crowd experimental scheme as part of re-opening the UK and although not at full capacity the crowds are enormous compared to what our Queen has been exposed to in the last year. I also think that knowing our Queen’s moral ethics in relation to things like this that she may well also think that her subjects have been forced to be restricted (particularly the vulnerable and elderly) during the past 18 months in the UK. Many of her age have been totally isolated so from a perspective of the Queen’s moral point of view she may wall have restricted herself from going to Ascot to send out a clear message of support to others at this time.

We have several variants of Covid which are causing numbers to rise in the UK once again and personally I would rather see our Queen not risk Covid than see her at Ascot. Even though she has now had both vaccines at 95 years of age there is still risk particularly in large crowd areas with new variants appearing all the time. She may well yet appear but I am sure extra measures will be put in place to assure our Monarchs safety such as not riding in an open care etc
