i wanna be a princess, maybe the king

most of the things quinton considers weird ab hollywood arts are so normal to me. my school wasn’t even an art high school (it was just “alternative” aka a cult) and it was so much weirder than hollywood arts in many ways. i had at least 2 different theater classes every year and some of the projects we did (short films etc) were so important that i didn’t even have to learn basic chemistry at all, every year in high school i would fail chemistry and then get an A in script writing and it’d give me enough class credit that i automatically passed??? and it was like that with a lotta other stuff, like, we frankly spent MUCH more time on extracurriculars than regular classes. i mean quinton isn’t wrong, that sucked cause i basically had to learn everything i missed in high school over a gap year before uni, but my point is i dont think these things r unusual at all ?? this guy i know (my friend and ex bf) went to a music high school and he didn’t even have math class after freshman year, all his classes were focused on music except for literature and such (edit: i think literally the only “normal” classes he took in hs were literature and history). i have friends that graduated in different “alternative” high schools and their diploma isn’t even recognized in my country as a high school diploma cause they didn’t take the actual necessary classes. i know that sucks but its just not unusual
