Her expression turned serious.
“Anyways, don’t tell Summer we had this conversation. He needs the happy-go-lucky Plume for the sake of his mental wellbeing. I care for him too much to have another thing to worry over.”
His expression turned sour. “I have no more desire to carry on this conversation. I bid you adieu before I end up hurting something.” He turned his back on Plume and headed for the door.
“Yikes, how cold his heart is.”
She crossed her arms.
“Not surprised though, seeing what he’s done in the past. And plus, people tend to go nuts when they see the broken, cold side of such a seemingly warm person such as myself..... I guess I can’t blame him.”
