The headlights look like fluorescent bulbs but glow like LEDs. The engine is a V8 but sounds like a diesel and moves like an electric. You fill the tank but the fuel gauge doesn’t move until you mention it out loud to your mate.

Then you get under the body and you notice that there’s extra lines going to random places. Why is there what looks like a hdmi cable running to the headlights? Is that a hydraulic line running to the doors????

Haven’t made art in a while. I actually forgot how skilled I am still. Yes these aren’t anything super technically complex like photorealism, but I think the colours and texture really POP.

More than any other story, it really just fills me with hope.

Growing up I never really understood why so many stories say hope is so important, but oh boy. Now I get it. You really need hope if you want anything to get better. And I’m not even meaning just the big political stuff happening. The little stuff too. If you have no hope left in your heart, you don’t even try to change stuff in your everyday or work life.

It’s so sad seeing people that have just given up.

I desperately never want to give up. I don’t think it’s possible for me to give up (yes yes, horrible torture, nails in your eyes and all that). I don’t think I’m “destined” for anything super mega awesome cool or anything, I know I’m just a regular person like the rest of us. But it sure would be cool if I could help a bunch of people in my life.

Turns out people generally like me for me, or at least the people I like, like me for who I am.

And turns out I’m quite good at being funny, even casually, which really means a lot to me.

You got men demanding to be called gods with the celestial dragons.

Then you got a God demanding to be called a man with Luffy.

Imagine being Imu right now.

You give out an attractive benefits package to your employees with clear incentives to climb the ranks.

You send some of the mid-tier experienced employees with a senior lead to go deal with a problem. Trusting they got this.

THE EXACT MOMENT you send them out, shit starts to go down at main office. So you gotta pull your senior lead back.

Time goes by, you check in on your employees, tell them to hurry the fuck up, you need them back at head office. Turns out they were fucking around and nearly failed the job. You Remote Desktop into one of your employees to give them a hand and quickly fix this.

Everything is going good. Then one of your guys fucks something up. He literally had to do nothing, and you all would have been fine. But by the sheer act of doing SOMETHING, he managed to fuck that up.

Then the connection starts to drop out with the employee your Remote Desktop connecting to. Something something, family trauma.

One of the jobbers on the competition says that it’s pathetic your remoting in “stop fighting indirectly you coward!” Which pisses you off cause you got bigger things to deal with, and you’re pretty sure he doesn’t even know who he’s talking to right now.

Then another one of your guys is getting ganged up on for expressing his political beliefs about certain races (breaking character loved killingham getting curb stomped).

AND THEN, these two hotshots who’s dads you knew from back in college come in, wreck shit, and force disconnect you out of remoting in.

In the span of a few hours, this went from an easy win to give some experience to your mid-level team, to a full scale all-hands-on-deck situation. And the worst part is, that isn’t even what’s pissing you off the most. It’s the long nose jobber that said it’s “pathetic” you remoted in.
