I would like to see this go to an employment law case.. I can absolutely see the argument that in most roles it's kinda like sexual harassment to try to make you talk to customers about their genitals

This is excellent advice. Remember, you don't have to argue, you don't have to fight back, you don't have to refuse. You just have to get everything in writing. Make them actually put down in words the awful shit they are demanding you do.

also get in touch with the Unison/ more specific union if you have one representative at your workplace. Unison people are supposed to help even if you're not a member
