Correct! There is indeed planned wackiness wherein the Green Prince accidentally gets dragged into Mantis Politics. Unfortunately, that's probably two or three chapters out--next chapter is about Lace and Hollow, and the one after it is about Hornet and the White Lady. Until then, the Green Prince is kinda dissociating in the corner.

The apocalypse has come and gone, and against all odds, Pharloom remains standing. The time has come for Hornet to return to Hallownest, accompanied by friends and allies: Shakra hopes to explore the mythical land beyond the wastes, and properly lay to rest a member of her own tribe; Lace fears unraveling without the aid of a Weaver, while contending with the immensity of a future free of her mother's threads; and the Green Prince lives only only to spite the Citadel, passively seeking a more honorable end than might be found in the rubble of his homeland. Meanwhile, Hornet returns from Pharloom with magic and knowledge that might aid in the slow recovery of Hallownest and Deepnest--and perhaps offer the chance to call home the sibling she once thought lost to her forever.

Starting a long fancomic! Hopefully one that I actually manage to finish this time. I've got several chapters drafted out at least, and an overall direction that I want to go with all the character arcs.

Also, please note that this will tonally be very different from my previous Hollow Knight fancomics, focused on unpacking some of the heavier themes lingering after Silksong's True Ending.

Been feeling down recently, so been keeping mind busy with a lighthearted, low stakes AU idea.

What if: Uzi gets devoured by J centipede in episode 2. Giving Solver enough material to rebuild the Disassembly Done's body. Only for the squad leader to return built a bit different.

So, Uzi as the new squad leader, with her memories deleted and replaced with belief of being JCJenson's employee. All personality intact. Includes reasonable amount of pain, overflood of silliness and some fluff.

Aware that Uzi as DD is probably an idea as new as the fandom itself. Mostly an excuse to write fun character interactions, since I love thinking about Disassembly Drones dynamic., And need some warm up/exercise in writing fanfics.

Now I’m just imagining someone, possibly N, throwing a weighted blanket on J while she’s all wound up and instantly calming down like a cat under a heated blanket. Kind of like that one video of a man throwing a blanket on an alligator/crocodile.

Can you draw that as a comic? I like your art of the Disassembly Drones acting like feral cats. LOL.
