it is a blessing that they convene in the foyer and nowhere more grand; it has seen worse messes than that which will be nothing but water in an hour. the smile that ashe shares with the young iceweaver is a warm one, and she turns her attention away from the armed man whose discussion had her here in the first place. 

“taliyah. i have a few questions to ask of you.” 

irelia rarely kept blades unsheathed when traveling through the placidium, but the world played along stricter lines in every frontier town, and to tread with uncovered steel hardly batted an eyelash. sensing an advance from her blind side, their alert signals prompted her to spin around, her surprise turning to irritation as she saw what the mage intended to do.

“have you no sense of caution? these are no toys, child.”

      ‘ a pebble won’t SLOW me down; im a lot tougher than that ! ’ she boasted, followed by another giggle. she moved a gloved hand out, leather unfolding to reveal an open palm. she smiled gently, russet hues creating a welcoming gaze. 

‘ name’s LENA – lena oxton. but everyone call’s me tracer ! ’ she’d gesture to the ivory lettering on her leg, spelling out her name in big bold letters.
