A month and a half into Deku’s internship Rody opens the door of his tiny apartment complex at two am in the morning.

“Hey Rody,” Of course Deku is behind the door, but this time he stands in front of Rody with his hands empty and his hero costume ripped in various different places.

He’s covered in dust and blood.

Rody's heart drops.

Or, Izuku goes to Rody's apartment at 2am in the morning, bleeding. Rody gives him a stern talk and learns something new. They end up together anyways.

Rody doesn’t look at his soulmate’s mark anymore— but he does in fact, look at Deku’s.
