I think it’s funny how people will try to teach social skills to high masking autistics. Like create these insanely long infographics and guides on allistic communication styles and what certain nonverbal and indirect communication means and how to navigate things socially. Like how did u come to the conclusion this is the solution for someone burnt out to hell to back. I’ve been trying literally my whole life to “get it” and it’s not fucking happening brother!! Why are we gonna dump more fuel on the fire. Why can’t these fucking ppl learn my communication style, why can’t they even try to meet me halfway here?
