Favourite book of the moment. Prehistoric graphic novel set in Yorkshire 10,000 years ago. Beautifully illustrated and credible characters. Book 2 out in September 2016. 

Design Set 1 for storytelling cubes for Neolithic and Mesolithic tales for Year 3 learners. Recently bought a lovely set of storytelling cubes for prehistory but they featured too many dinosaurs and so I’ve created my own. I’m hoping to put together a few sets of wooden cubes for small group storytelling in class. I’ll post the final cubes when I’ve made them! 2.1.16.

Inside a dinosaur’s bone. This is a special preservation where a variety of quartz called agate has filled the bone’s pore space. Fossils with this preservation are largely found in dinosaurs, especially sauropods, from the Jurassic Morrison Formation in states like Wyoming, Utah, and colorado.
