Thinking about stick figures having favorite colors is so funny and interesting to me bc like
yeah, they prolly do have favorite colors, but colors could carry a whole lot more meaning to sticks than they do for humans, since stick figure skin can be literally any color of the rainbow.
Like is that weird, to stick figures, to like a specific color that another stick most definitely likely is? Or do they get around it by mostly preferring their own colors?
We only really see the CG's perspectives on this, and they mostly seem to color coordinate things with their own colors. Orange sleeps on an orange bed. Green uses green wool blocks in his guitars. they have their own colored bundles in AvM Hardcore Manhunt.
Is this normal stick figure behavior, or just convenience? A way of marking something as their own property, so none of the others take it?
We haven't seen Purple or King display this behavior yet. Purple has a purple bundle in Manhunt, but was that their choice, or did the others just default to dying it their color because that's just what they do themselves?
We also don't see this behavior in Victim or Mitsi. Victim's preferred color has been firmly established as blue, due to the frequent number of blue things he's associated with or possesses (the wreath, the party hat, the blanket, the curtains in his office, the color of his powers, etc. Hell, even the paintbrush is blue.) while the little we got to see in AvA11 associated pink with Mitsi. We've seen literally nothing of Chosen's domestic life, so his is unclear, if he even has a preference.
But we do see it in TDL. The Virabots were red. His Virablade and more recent viragoop has a red outline. His very room's walls were a lighter more muted shade of red. If he played Minecraft, he'd prolly dye his bed red.
It's just very interesting. I wonder if the CG have different favorite colors than their own and we just haven't seen it, bc the animators use matching colors as a visual storytelling purpose in the animations (namely that ownership thing I mentioned earlier) since that is a legit thing, or if they really do just like their own colors the most.
