Somebody knocked on your front door. It had been a few hours since Eliza left, it was late in the evening now. Who could be calling to dee? Was it preachers? Door to door salesmen? Chaos?
They knocked again, this time faster and more aggressive. Whoever it was, they were very impatient. They should learn some manners.
A voice called your name from outside, you couldn't recognise who it was though.
Dee? You in there?
Who was this?? How did they know his name??
Dee had just finished tidying himself after the whole ordeal. It had calmed him a little, but the back of his mind was still racing. Maybe he wouldâve been able to calm down completely if he was left alone.
He didnât want to answer, and the thought of someone at his door, especially after everything, just made him want to hide. Nothing came from any interaction in this place, especially people who knew his name.
But the knocking got louder, frustrating and stinging to an already frantic mind. He could just.. open it a little, right? Or scare them off, or something. Because they sure as hell werenât stopping.
He opened the door just a sliver, enough to see who it was.
HEYA DEE!
Eliza poked his head in at the gap of the barley open door, staring directly at you, inches away from your face.
he backed up and laughed, wiping a nonexistent tear from his eye.
Sorry I'm back so soon, my friend and I just wanted to ask you for a favour!
Hey mistrum, why don't you tell him yourself what we want from him?
Eliza looked down at the moot-shaped deity. friends?? They were friends?? Eliza was capable of that??
His tail was wrapped around Mistrum's hand loosely.
Mistrum snickered, he looked pathetic. It tilted it head, with its unnaturally wide grin. Youâd seen it in this form beforeâwhen it was taunting you, reminding you of things you didnât want to remember. It looked like it was wearing something different though, but you couldnât pick apart the colors or really the design on the sweater(?) anyways, not that it mattered.
Money! Blue over here is broke as a nail, but youâve got to have some money, greeeeenie!
Mistrum bounced its head side to side, using metaphors that didnât make a lick of sense. ItâŠalmost acted like moot, a certain childish whimsy about it, perhaps. But it didnât talk like it, it didnât dress like it, it had a different cadence about itself, it wasnât so scared. It was just imitating its corpse, after all. Borrowing the idea of it.
âŠwhat the fuck..?
Dee could tell he was a little out of it, maybe more than he thought he was. But with Eliza standing next to .. what did he call it? Mistrum? It made him question how present he was.
Eliza called Mistrum âfriend,â whichâŠgod knows how that happened. And, Mistrum called Eliza âBlue,â which, although it was on theme with the name it gave Dee, he wished he didnât have to hear it.
Especially with Mistrum imitating M-that parasite, it didnât even seem like it was trying to taunt him this time, was it really just doing that?
And were the two freaks of nature who had spent their own time getting a rise out of tormenting Dee, really here, asking for MONEY?
Maybe he shouldâve been more afraid? But he was too tired for that.
âŠWhy would I have, or give you two money..?
Well, he did have money.. but it sure as hell wasnât for them!
I already explained that, idiot. Blueâs broke, I canât make money, so youâre the third option!
Mistrum repeated its point, it felt it was pretty easy to get. Then again, greenie seemed pretty out of it. It was a little curious about what the arbitrator possibly gotten up to.
I just want more clothes, surely youâd get it?
It frowned for a moment.
Or maybe you wouldnât, wearing the same ratty suit everyday. So many options around and everyone in this town is SO boringâŠ
Dee took a breath on hearing the suit comment, tapping his foot a little. It was a little hard to be frustrated with how tired he felt, but it probably had more to do with who was standing in front of him.
âŠUhh, no. Even if I had any, I wouldnât be giving it to you two.
There was a weak smile on his face, far from genuine, and far from the one he usually put on.
Go like.. steal, or something. Leave me out of it.
Eliza pushed open the door slightly and smiled wider.
Dee? You're going to give us that money, whether you like it or not, understand? We don't want to have a little incident like we had last time, do we?
Eliza smiled and stared at you, what was his problem?? Why was he even friends with this thing?? Purely to torture dee?
Dee. Show us where your money is. Please.
His smile seems somehow both genuine and ingenuity at once, and he was significantly a lot drier now.
Dee narrowed his eyes, god was this stupid. They really had the integrity to pay for shit just to take the money from Dee?
It wasnât like he spent it often, but it was still his! And he doubted giving the two anything would get them off his back, if anything theyâd ask for more.
He looked at his darkened hand, Eliza probably WOULD cause another âincidentâ or whatever.. it made Dee wonder how aware Mistrum was of the whole deal, though.
Euuugh, fine.. but Iâm not showing you where it is.
He put a hand against the door, weakly trying to close it.
why would I care about where the money isâŠIâd just ask for more if I needed itâŠ
Painting this as a need really showed where mistrumâs priorities lied. It didnât even really see this as âtakingâ money, he was just giving it after all! Sure, he had potential consequence if he said no, and this could probably be classified as extortion, but that was not mistrumâs concern!
Mistrum closed the door for him, bobbing its head side to side, it was just so helpful! Frankly, mistrum didnât give a single fuck about what blue and greenie got up to, if it was curious it was sure heâd bring it up to speed anyways. It wasnât as if anything heâd do would ever cause a real problem for it, theyâd get bored of each other soon enough and their dealâd be completed by then.
He swung open the door and walked past you, walking into you and hitting his shoulder off of yours.
Thank you, stinky! Knew you'd cooperate.
Elixa walked into the kitchen and started sifting through drawers recklessly, searching for ant hidden compartments or safes.
C'mom mistrum! Help me look for the wads, will ya? Clothes stores will be closing soon enough, we might have to go tomorrow instead!
He rummaged through all of your cupboards and storage, desperately trying to fund the money. Eliza recalled the memories of himself searching for the money to pay back that gang all those years ago, though they were not his own memories. It still stressed him out, However.
Mistrum tilted its head.
We donât need to know where the money is if heâll give it to us anyways. Itâs good to give people a false sense of control, âspecially when it doesnât matter.
Mistrum commented, cleaning up and organizing the messes Eliza would leave behind him as he sifted through drawers. It really wasnât so stressed over it, and blue was just seeming antsy. If things worked without intervention, why not just let them work?
Even if it does close, we for plenty of time, donât we? Relaaaax, blue.
Eliza stopped rustling through the drawers for a second and stared up at the wall ahead of him before turning towards you.
I- yeah...yeah loads of time. We have loads of time, haha! What- what am I doing? Why don't we just get stinky to give us the money, mistrum? I mean, we have loads of time, as you said!
He seemed distracted, just slightly.
Truth is, he didn't have loads of time. He didn't have any time really, if everything went to plan. As long as that little parasite didn't intervene all of this would be over, and he could finally rest. Tonight. Tonight would be the night. He had the supplies, and it wasn't like he had anyone to write letters to.
Mistrum grinned widely. It couldnât tell anything was wrong. How would it? It didnât know Eliza. It had no point of reference even outside him.
It was excited! It was starting to get a good idea of how it could probably be alive, with a breathing, living body. Everythingâd work out! It figured it could trust blue to not fuck it over afterwards, he seemed to hold good on deals.
Weâre already doing that, just be patient, we didnât really need to barge into the guyâs home.
Mistrum had all the patience in the world, its not like it did much more in the fields. Then again, it did a little antsy, but it was just excited.
We should get you something too, better than river stained..suitâŠthingâŠIâd say I put together nice outfits, so you can trust my taste.
Mistrum said, doing a spin. Then again, its taste was that of a twelve year old girl overly obsessed with sanrio, so that statement didnât hold too much worth.
Eliza looked your outfit up and down, he wasn't exactly faithful in a harjuku girl wannab to dress him, but if it made the kid happy he didn't mind.
...the kid.
Yeah..yeah maybe you can pick something nice out for me. Maybe something a bit less flashy than this tattered old thing. We have all the time in the world. I...i don't know why it as rushing so much.
Eliza sighed and backed up, making his way to the threshold of the kitchen, the same one where he had drowned and strangled moot through de- stinkeri all that time ago.
HEY STINKS! WHERE D'YOU KEEP YOUR MONEY?
Dee didnât want to watch Eliza destroy his kitchen, so at some point he had wandered off back to his bedroom. Wasnât like the money was too hidden, it was just in a shoebox⊠but he didnât want Eliza in his room either.
Once Eliza called for him, he just grabbed a handful of cash and dragged himself back to the kitchen. He didnât count how much, or really look at it, thatâd only make him more reluctant to give them any of it. He hoped it wasnât enough for whatever they wanted it for, though.
He thought about handing it to Eliza or Mistrum, but Dee didnât really want to do that. So he kind of just⊠dropped it all on the floor.
There.
do you get dead wife flashbacks

I love the new url
i was scared last night and changed it idk why that was what i did to fix it lmao
it was slinking around. time was busy with the cat. mistrum preferred to not deal with the shedding right now. mistrum probably shouldnât leave for longâŠbut it didnât care.
this town was always so busy! mistrum felt it knew a reason whyâŠunrelated to mistrumâs own decisions. see, what was his name? chaosâ mistake. the green idiot. embodiment of everything mistrum takes issue with.
you? yoooooouuu you youâŠ..
green. do you get sick of it? the green i mean. personally, i prefer yellow. if you could actually see colors, do you think you would like another color? maybe a pinkâŠ.or a redâŠred is a good color for violent, angry people. green is good for envy though.
are you envious? or greedy? mix of the two?
wh-what? what? Hooold on buddyâ â:)
God forbid Dee walk anywhere in this forsaken town. There was always someone or something ready to throw themselves into conversation with someone who WASNâT interested.
Mistrumâs form was unnerving to Dee, things were already blurry enough as is, this just felt like a talking shadow to him. After processing what was even speaking to him, it took him another second to register what Mistrum had even said.
I could never get tired of green! :) Its MY color after all. And that wouldnât change if i could see red or not!
And between you and me, I think everyoneâs a little greedy, jealousâŠ.same thing. :)
Another thing that unnerved him was the fact thisâŠwhatever he had never met was already aware of his colorblindness. Dee kept it hidden from people he knew! How could this thing tell?
Though, it did get him thinking, there were a few colors he would like to see, maybe even just once.
Donât call me buddy, little god. Does that fit for you? I never really understood the whole deal. Does Chaos even know? âŠI donât actually care!
It shifted around him, it seemed to at least have a solid formâŠsort of. The hue of its petals shifted from a dull grey to vibrant green, for a split second.
Eugh, no, no. I still prefer yellow. Daffodils being my brand and what notâŠwas it daffodils? Flowers were never my strong suit.
âŠlets see, what was it now? Dee? Dee, is that what your calling yourself now? Well, anyways greenâŠ
Mistrumâs eyes seemed to slit.
Are they now? Maybe someone of us took a little more than their fair share.
Ahh, anyways, itâs been so long since Iâve seen you, green!
Something in its tone fell flatter.
Not really. Itâs no pleasure to see you either.
Dee racked his mind on how it could possibly know so much about him. He couldâve always forgotten meeting it, but of course he wouldnât. He wouldnât!
His thoughts were put on hold for a short moment when its petals flashed green. He tilted his head just a little, before resuming his thinking.
It says its seen him, it knows Deeâs name, about his faulty eyes, it knows about Chaos! He wouldnât have forgotten telling someone all about that.
Yeah, pal? Iâm kinda missing the part where IâVE ever metâor even seen you before.
He scoffed at the displeasure from it. Trying not to dwell on that at the moment.
Oh weâve met, often too, pal.
Mistrum sneered.
Worried youâve forgotten something? Worried mr-no-green ran his mouth while you were out? Worried Iâve been talking with the pink one? I mean, deities talk! Not that Iâve ever had a conversation with that Chaos fellow.
Hmm, you killed it? Right? Not too long ago either, gosh, I sure do get sick of those petals. So unnatural. I donât really care though, other deities arenât really my businessâŠ
It glared as it loomed in front of him. Even with his bad vision, it mustâve been altering its appearance somebow, because it still managed to look off, even being plenty close.
Until they decide to spend their time killing things constantly. No one likes doing their job, you know.
I didnât really care all that muchâŠthough you canât really be causing problems for me like you did Chaos. You quite like getting everyone around you, and especially you, into trouble, dontcha!
Dee tried his best to keep his face neutral. Even as his hands turned to fists, even as the fins on the side of his head flared up just the slightest, he pressed on his smile.
He hated how despite the act he was already struggling to keep up, he was being read like a book. He hated how he had not a clue as to who was in front of himâWell..judging by what it said he had a vague idea, but it didnât answer much.
sooo⊠youâre a death guy. Great! thats what we really need in this town, more deities to piss each other off!
His tone was riddled with sarcasm, but admittedly, he was curious what made this place a magnet for that sort of thing.
Why canât you talk about this with someone whoâŠwellâŠi dunnoâim not exactly a regretful person, pal! you arenât gonna get anything from me âere. That kid had it coming.
Mistrumâs eyes(?) squinted in glee. It was clearly getting a kick out of making him upset.
I donât know if Iâd call myself a deity. Itâs not as if Iâm worshippedâŠand earnestly itâs an insult to be compared to something like you.
And in any case, your the only one thatâs truly âpissed off.â Iâm moreâŠannoyed by the little children that keep making my job harder. You know?
Its eyes slit again at the final phrase. It had it coming? Well, thats a funny way to think about murder. Mistrum was starting to think he was lucky everybody in this town was so nice.
Oh, you donât regret anything? Did she have it coming, green?
Of c-Iâwhat?
It took a moment but his smile changed again, it went from strained to something almostâŠfrantic, it quivered but still stayed. His eyes widened, no longer frustrated, but an unclear emotion that didnât look like it belonged on Dee.
He wanted to tell himself it was talking about someone else, anyone else, but of course it was talking about the first person he thought of. Of course it was talking about who would sting and writhe and hurt to think about.
N-no that-thats..wh-
He couldnât spit it out. His voice and his breath were both shaking, just the slightest. He knew what he wanted to say, he knew what he was thinking, why couldnt heâŠ
Th-thats. thatwasâ i- icant-
He brought a hand up to his throat, rubbing at it. It hurt, it stung, he couldnât get anything coherent out.
It was a lot harder to keep looking at the figure in front of him now. He found himself glancing to his hands, and especially his shoulder. That was familiar, and he hated that too.
Awww, donât get all shaken up now! You were doing so very good with your act!
It poked at him, his shoulder, his back, random spots where scars seemed to be. It wasâŠsnickering.
It was laughing at him. Like this was funny. A hilarious little bit.
Didnât want anyone poking about that? I wouldâve spoken to Chaos thenâŠbut your his problem, after all.
If it had a mouth, it wouldâve been grinning. It loomed over his shoulder.
Though, I could talk to him now, couldnât I?
It wouldnât truly do anything. It didnât care. He was a slight annoyance more than anything, and another deityâs problem on top of that.
It couldnât help but mess with him, though. Poke and prod about what it knew. It didnât know everything, but it knew enough about everyone that entered this town.
It helped when they were so keen on killing people, too.
Say, green, we could have a good conversation, us three! A bunch of deities catching up and what notâŠno one does that anymore! He probably knows about her more than me, after all. Iâd love to get to know her better, I feel as if we could get along! âŠWhat a pity.
He made an effort to swat it away from poking at him further, but his hand was so shaky it was more pathetic of an attempt than anything.
youâst..noononono- no, no.
The repeated mention of Chaos only deepened his anxiety, adding to the fact his thoughts were already going so fast they were practically nonsensical to him.
He wanted to tear the petals straight off of this wretches head, no one, NO ONE. Was supposed to bring any of that up again. But he couldnât even look at it anymore, he couldnât speak, he could barely think, how was he supposed to do well, anything?
God, he wanted it gone, he wanted it to leave, he wanted it quiet and he wanted it GONE.
Yo-you didnt know her. you didnt- you- you dont get it.youdontgetit. quiet.quieet.
He wasnt sure if he understood what happened with her either, the way his memory twisted it, and twisted it, and twisted it.
I get it, green. I certainly get it. She deserved it, she DESERVED it, which is why you had to do that. She had it coming, you just had to do it yourself.
It loomed over him again, done prodding. Did his surroundings get darker?
Why should you get to tell me to be quiet, green? Have you not learned your place? You are a problem.
You are a problem you are making everyone else deal with, you cost a life, youâre nothing more than a nuisance, a thorn in someoneâs sideâŠ
Say, green, do you have a purpose? For yourself. I mean. Or are you truly that dependent on others for everything?
âŠHmm, what was your name again?
no, noâyouâfuckin.. stop. stop it.stopiiiit.
You-you ddont know anything.
y-you really- dont! x)
The smile wasnât hiding anything. Every new word that came from its mouth made himâŠhe couldnât place it, it was an almost sickening feeling. Dee hated the way it talked to him as if he was inferior. It was god awful familiar, and just inaccurate!
Despite that, he still could barely piece together any words of protest. The only other option his mind gave him was to claw at his palms, least that offered a slight wake up call.
I-I have- sooo much going for me, bud! you- you dont even know!
He didnât need anyone. He had a ..name!âand he was TRYING to have a life without people fucking RUINING it for him! God. But he knew who gave him that name, he knew who gave him the one beforeâŠ
YOU should st-stop actin like you fuckin know me, asshole! My name is Doâfuck! fuck youâfuuuckyou.
I know more than you!
It shoved a hand(?) in his face, an act of annoyingly pushing someone back as it circled around him again. As much as it despised people like him, it was awfully fun to mess with them to a breaking point. Surprisingly easy with the little information it had, too!
It sneered at him.
The one thing I donât know, is your purpose! Whatâs the point in you being alive? Whatâs the point at all?
It clicked its tongue and shook its head, like it was preformatively disappointed.
Tch, tch, tch! Câmon now, stinkeri, doc, dee, whatever it isâŠI do know you. Youâve got the sweet scent of death all over you! Weâre practically close friends at this point!
I know what you did to her, green.
It gets flatter as it stands in front of him once more, its height keeps changing, but at the moment itâs equal with him, staring into his eyes with a pointed glare. It did like to mimic those it taunted, of course.
The real question is if you know, green. Do you remember? Truly. Do you?
Dee had managed to clear his mind just the slightest, the pain in his palms a being an anchor of sorts. He tried to ignore its pestering, his names, unimportant, it didnât matter, he didnât want to hear any of this.
O-of course I-ugh. Fuuuuck you, Iâm not playing into this shit anymore.
He forced himself to look back at it, squinting to dull the anxiety that came with it.
He didnât need to think about her.
He didnât.
His palms had started bleeding by now, finally giving way to him clawing at himself.
Playing into what, greenie? Thereâs no games here.
Its eyes closed in a smile.
Or are you earnestly that disconnected from your own actions, that you have to view it like that? A cold honest truth is too much for you, isnât it?
Itâs pathetic. Wretched, as youâd say.
It glanced at his palms, with the cadence of a dog that hadnât been fed in ages. Less of a hunger, more of a disgust, though.
Bleeding. The smell makes me sick. Doesnât it make you sick? Or are you used to it by now.
Mistrum ignored the fact that it shouldâve been used to it by now.
Game of life, buddy. Far from wretched! â:)
Dee exclaimed. That was the truth, not whatever this freak had in mind. Death gave life purposeâwhatever Chaos used to say.. and death also got people off Deeâs back! Some fucked up game with a piss poor ending. Not that heâd get one anytime soon!
Whâ
He glanced down at his hands, he obviously felt the pain, but not the bleedingâWell..now that he was focusing on his palms he could feel it. His eyes widened a little, he didnât like the feeling. Especially when paired with what it kept bringing up.
Dee wiped his hands on his pants, but that just made the wounds angrier, effectively making the bleeding worse.
He cursed under his breath,
fuuuckfuckin-shitttâŠnnonono
Just another familiar feeling, those bloody hands.
it grinned. a mouth formed, glowing and white like its eyes. unsettling and intentional.
want some help with that?
its face melded, and for a moment it looked like that..paper bitch, as youâd call him. it reverted quickly though, leaving you wondering if you were just seeing things.
be a shame to ruin that suit. though you must splatter it in blood all the time, huh?
whatever it was upset over passed rather quickly. it was efficient and getting over itself solely to worsen someone elseâs mood. what else could a deity with all the time in the world do?
DoâDee, squinted. Trying to make sense of the changing face, it was uncanny, and everything else about this was uncanny. He hated.. this thing he hated how it just knew what he could barely even remember and he HATED how it was reminding him about it
He kept wiping his hands, even though that made them sting more, and (still) bleed more. It was hard to look at it, he kept glancing to his shoulder, and he kept glancing to his feet, half expecting water to be there. He swore there was a weight on his shoulder, the blood on his hands couldnt be his own.
No, no. He needed to focus on the freak in front of him.
do YOU need some help closing your fuckinâ mouth?? sshhuut the fuuck up already!
oh what? you donât like me talking? maybe you donât like me knowing.
it shifted to something smaller. a kid barely taller than your waist. a kid you recognized, of course. after all you only recently cleaned its blood off the floor.
itâs just not fair, is it? itâs not fair at all!
it sneered at him. it honestly wasnât sure this one would get as much of a reaction, but the kid was the easiest to remember and easiest to shift to, so it might as well.
youâre bleeding.
You think I donât fucking realize that?
Deeâs claws went deeper into his hands, but he was making an attempt at steadying his breathing.
It was playing tricks, just trying to get in his head. He was Dee, no one else, not anymore. He didnât need to think about what he had done, not toâŠ.her. And not to the god forsaken parasite it decided to mimic this time around.
He hissed through his teeth as he spoke, it was clear he was trying to be the more intimidating one though it was just as clearly not working.
I donât know what youâre playing at. I DONâT know you, and you CLEARLY donât know me.
The last part was hard to say, but it had toâve only known about him from his violence, right? Just that? Surely it didnât know much more, hopefully.
i know that you know, i just thought iâd point it ouuut! like a good buddy or pal. whatever you want to call me. :>
it spun around, a blank smile on its face. it shifted back to what it looked like before, right after.
i know everything i need to know, greeeeeen!
You donât exactly have a good poker face.
Mistrum obviously wasnât intimidated, why would it be? Dee was barely older than a fly to it, Mistrum had been around for much longer and seen much worse than a self entitled asshole. It anything he seemed more like a pissy cat, to it.
It doesnât really matter what I know, does it? Itâs not like you know much more.
Fuck you! Of course I do! I know all i needâthats what I was madeâughh.
Dee cut himself off, who knew what this thing really knew, but he sure as hell didnât need to tell it more. He could still feel his blood dripping from his palms, and he wished it was this things rather than his own.
He kept glancing around, it was still a little unclear whether he was 100% present. His shoes, his hands, his shoulders, all kept getting peaked at by him.
How long had he been on the floor?
His nose had stopped bleeding a while ago, and the blood from it had been dried for a good moment too.
Most of what ached had settled by now, his knee still had a bit of a dull stinging to it, and laying on the hardwood floor had started to make his back throb, but he guessed he was feeling better.
For the most part his thoughts were a little clearer too, but he also didnât really remember what he had been thinking about for the past⊠however long he had been there.
His breath was slower too, but he couldâve sworn every once in a while his heart would skip a beat, which kept putting him back on edge.
God, this was humiliating, he needed to get up, he needed to move.

Dee looked terrified, of course it was reasonable, but it looked misplaced when on him. He clawed at Elizas tail, but it was thin enough where he was mostly just scratching at his neck.
His eyes were wide, staring at Eliza as he spoke. Dee could still feel blood dripping from his nose, and with his heart pounding, his head spinning, it was a little tricky to comprehend all the words being said.
Once the grip loosened up, as well as the inability to move properly, he fell to the floor...again. He was surprisingly quiet, minus the coughing and heaving. He pushed himself back a little, still on the floor. Dee reached for his chest..again.
Eliza giggled to himself as he took a step towards you, looming over dee menacingly, his smile slightly fading.
We can't have your ego get any bigger now, can we?
He crouched down again and lofted your chin with his finger, trying to get a closer look at your neck.
Someone was bound to teach you who you were eventually. It was only a matter of time.
He stood up again and dusted his waistcoat off, spraying riverwater down on top of you.
Well! I ought to get going, stinks. It was a pleasure to do business with you.
We'll meet again soon enough, I'm sure.
Eliza headed to the door before pausing, he turned back and headed towards you, his steps against that hardwood floor agonisingly slow.
He raised his boot and stomped on your knees, as a goodbye message. It wasn't hard enough to break anything, but it still hurt like hell. Eliza burst into another fit of laughter before clicking his fingers and disappearing into the blue smoke again, like he was never even there to begin with.
wwaaaitwaitwaiâFUUUCK!
Dee grabbed at his knees as if itâd do anything. He was in enough overall pain, stinging, discomfort, whatever he wanted to call it, where it didnât quite matter what part he tried to soothe.
Smoke clouded his vision and lungs, as if he wasnât struggling with the two enough. But at least it meant Eliza was gone, (for now.)
There werenât many rational thoughts going through Deeâs head, the only that seemed reasonable was the fact he had been through much worse, physically and mentally. But that didnât help! If that was trueâ why could he barely breathe? Why was his vision spinning? Why couldnât he get UP?
Dee looked at the hand that had darkened, not like he knew what color it was. He moved it just a little, that meant he was still himself, right?
Right?
What even counted as âhimselfâ anymore?
Its pride month stinky caked you know what that means
what do you want to uhhh fuck like gayly psycologically tormentme
smirks cutely
ew dont do that shit fucker

The lingering aroma of incense, must and sulfur suddenly filled the room you were standing in. You didn't own incense, and what on earth could be making the room smell musty and sulfur-y so suddenly?
Something was there.
Someone was there.
In the room with you. You could feel his presence as blue smoke sneaked into your periphal.
He sat on that crusty old couch, foot rested on the other knee, arms draping over the armrest distastefully. The riverwater still seeping into his bones and clothes was sinking into the depths of the couch by the second, his hair slightly spikier, yet still sopping wet and only highlighted blue now, the rest platinum blonde.
He put on his Best dazzling white smile, eager for you to turn around and see the look on your face.
Finally, he spoke. His voice stung your ears as it leaked from his throat love acid behind you.
Did you miss me? :)
hhoolyFUCK-!
He stumbled back a few steps once Eliza spoke. Obviously not expecting any âcompany.â Dee stood in his little surprised stance for a moment, before shifting to something a little more composed.
It didnât help him look much better, though. His hair was noticeably frayed at its ends which didnât seem like the kind of thing Dee would take lightly.
âŠLooord you reek..!
He fanned by his snout for a second, you could see his palms were scabbed over.
I thought you died or something, god knows I hoped sâare you fuckinâ wet??
Eliza eyed your hands, slightly confused as to how you got those scabs but decided to put off the thought for later.
He laughed loudly before shifting in his seat and clapping his hands.
God- you're an absolute GENIUS! I AM wet! Well done! A+!
He shook his head as riverwater splattered against the wall behind him.
oh the smell? Yeah, well being drowned in a river and laying there, decomposing and rotting for a few months will do that to you.
But hey- I've got EYES now!
Ain't that great?! I can SEE!
he stood up swiftly and shook out his legs, spraying more riverwater across the floor. He paced up and down the room, nearly skipping with joy as his tail whipped behind him. He spun around towards you and ran his fingers through his hair. You noticed his blond roots growing in. You didn't realise he was a natural blond. For some reason, the fact that he died his hair felt like the most human thing about him, yet it just felt weirdly unnatural.
AAand for your information, I was dead yes.
You should really be used to this whole routine by now, stinks.
ew..ew.
Dee mumbled to himself, watching the water get traced around his house. He reminded himself heâd clean it at some point, his floors had seen worse.
Dee squinting, staring at Elizas eyes as he mentioned them. Since when was he blind? and since when was ⊠whatever color his hair was, Dee could tell it looked a little different. He wasnât sure how long it had been since they last saw each other, but it really just felt like his memory was failing him here.
He shook the thought off, much bigger concerns at hand, being Eliza was bothering him, again.
Eugh, donât call me that.
He blinked a few times, obviously switching up his mood a little.
Sure Iâm used to the routine.. but canât a guy hope for a little change ? :)
Eliza glared right through you at your last comment, clearly not impressed.
Hah, funny. Very funny.
Anyways, d'you have a shower? ...and a washing machine maybe?? It's not as if I have my own place after all, HAH!
His tail brushed against your legs as he walked past, it felt like somebody had dragged a wet sock across your shins.
You know what, screw it. I'll wash off later. I wanna have some fun first :)
A plume of electric blue smoke replaced where he stood yet again as you felt someone stand behind you.
He leaned over you and whispered right in your left ear.
Are you ready to make another deal? :)
Dee didnât have much a chance to respond before being started again. He jumped in place and instinctively pushed Eliza away from him.
Ew! no. Iâm not an idiot.
Fool him once? shame on you, fool him TWICE, shame on you, fool him a third timeâŠ? itâd be getting old by then.
Iâm a big fan of my peace and quiet, what can I say? (And also having control of my arm..)
He glanced at that arm again, squinting a little. He hadnât thought about the shit Eliza had gotten him into in awhile.
Also reminded him of the branding, which he had since⊠torn. All the more reasons he didnât want to listen to this guy!
Eliza instinctively took a step or two back after you pushed him. He was better off keeping his distance.
I can give you anything you want. Anything you desire.
And, because the kid isn't occupying your mind anymore either, it'd work perfectly. No complications, just swift and painless. You can even be in full control of yourself. Hell, maybe I'd even shut up for a while.
he eyed your arm. It sure would be nice to have such a powerful being to be his vessel. Dee...he'd be magnificent.
He smiled even wider and tilted his head, squinting his eyes slightly.
I can make you perfect.
Hopefully that last one would hit home.
You could see his smile drop a little, as well as his eyed widening, all just for a moment. His expression returned to (almost) normal rather quickly, before he scoffed.
Please! Buddy, youâre already looking at perfection! :)
His tail swayed behind him as he talked, it was a little unclear if he actually believed what he was saying. But, knowing him, he probably did. Even if he was much more a mess than usual.
Maybe you should work that magic on yourselfâŠ
Eliza didn't move a muscle, he just stood there sneering at you almost. It seemed as if the cogs in his brain were actually working for once, like he was close to forming a real thought.
You both stood in awkward silence for a few moments before he spoke.
I can make you beautiful.
He pulled his hands out of his pocket without changing his expression or looking down and slipped off his glove from his right hand. He slowly reached his right arm out to you as an offering, irking you to shake his hand.
It's a painless procedure.
He tilted his head downwards slightly and raised his eyebrows subtly.
Deeâs expression went a little blank, he was still smiling, but he didnât look all⊠there. He was staring at the hand, but didnât make any moves for it.
I donât..uhh..
Was he bleeding? Something was dripping--no, that was the water, should be the water. God, it getting frustrating.... Was he SURE he wasn't bleeding?? He took a few glances at his palms, his shoulders, but his eyes kept returning to the hand in front of him.
beautiful
Was that all he wanted? He took a step back, turning his gaze to the side. He almost looked afraid in a way. His conscience screamed at him, it wasn't like Eliza would really do it anyway...but how could Dee be sure?
I'm nooot just gonna.. even if- fuuccckin.
He cut himself off, why couldn't he get the words out?
Eliza's smile was nearly impossibly wide now, you had never seen him grin like this before. He was elated, it felt like his plan might actually work. One or two more buzzwords and the deal was sealed.
don't you want to be beautiful?
Don't you want all of this to be over?
He stretched out his arm a bit further towards you and gestured for you to shake it, acting as if it was stupid not to take the deal.
Every time Eliza said beautiful, it felt like a wham to the head, was it supposed to do that? Dee took another step back, his hand twitched a little. He couldnât tell if it was because he was itching to scratch at his palms, or maybe take the deal, either wayâŠ
Yyou said itâdâŠuh.
He cut himself off again, why was he considering it? Acting like it worked out the last two times? Why did it sound right? Did he really just want to get it over with? He didnât get it, not as he looked back to his hand.
Eliza's expression stayed unmoving as he slowly took another step towards you. He was getting inpatient, but didn't let it show because he could feel that it might actually work this time.
I said I'll make you beautiful. I promise.
He waved his fingers of his outstretched hand slightly.
Everything will be over. All of your problems resolved.
And you'll be beautiful. So, so beautiful.
His hand warped the air around it ever so slightly, as if someone had photoshopped it badly a tinge of blue clung in the area around it, almost inviting you to shake it.
He raised his hand just the slightest, not making much effort beyond that. It wasnât right, it wasnât right. Though, the way his gaze softened in the littlest way said otherwise.
He felt like death, or something similar. Why couldnât he back away? Turn away? Every part of him felt against himself, it didnât feel great, would it really be right to listen to the part of him that said Eliza could fix that?
He was smarter than this, he knew that, so why wasnât his hand going back to his side?
Maybe he was at a point where he had nothing to lose, that was a stupid thought.
Eliza quickly grasped his hand firmly with out letting go, the searing pain burning into your palms with unbelievable strength. We were really doing this all over again, huh?
Fucking idiot.
Eliza's face began to distort as the room swirled around you in shades of blues and navies. It felt as if someone had drilled into your skull, every tiny sound was unbelievably loud and overwhelming, and the pain in your head was horrific.
And he began to laugh. He laughed uncontrollably, indubitably and without end. It shrieked throughout the room and felt as if your eardrums were getting pierced. The strange rhythm of it, the weird pulse in volume all felt so unnatural it made you want to vomit. Your hand felt as if it were broken, elizas grip on it still firm as ever as he just stood there, laughing.
The room swelled and shrank around you as he shook your hand around, it felt like a living nightmare.
The pain immediately snapped Dee out of whatever daze he threw himself into. You could see it on his face, that empty look shift to surprised, to a much more obvious fear.
Whâffuuck, FUCK!
One hand reached up to shelter his ear, while the other took an attempt at prying away from Eliza, obviously unsuccessful. It was all spinning, it wasnât like head pain was a new concept to him, but he could barely find his footing. The only thing keeping him from falling over was Elizas grip on his hand.
He wanted to speak, yell, scream, curse, but it was so nauseating to the point he didnât feel like he could. It was worse than losing memory, it was worse than gaining it, he couldnât tell how long it had been already, a minute? a second? God he wanted it over.
Eliza was ecstatic, the first time he had made a real deal in a long, long time. It wasn't as if it wasn't more than just a figment of dee's imagination, but it certainly seemed persistent to cause him so much pain.
The arbitrator took a few steps back and finally let go of your hand, giggling to himself while slipping back on his glove. His work here was done, so now all he has to do was wait for your opinion on it.
Making deals like these were always pretty draining for him, so he was a bit lightheaded. He collapsed onto the couch and crossed his leg, soaking it in riverwater again.
Well? Do you feel beautiful?
Deeâs legs had buckled the second Eliza let go of him. Ironically, the floor did nothing to ground Dee, he barely even registered falling. His heart felt like it was going to explode, and what didnât help was his breath was going just as fast.
He grabbed at his chest to try to steady either, he was fine he was fine, he had to be fine. The hand he lifted looked darker, but he could control it unlike the last time.
Dee looked up at Eliza as he spoke, but didnât respond, not that he felt he could get anything out.
Was something dripping again? his eyes darted around, though everything felt even blurrier than normal. But, of course he could make out his own blood, leaking from what he figured was his nose.
His heart started beating harder again, it felt comparable to a hole in his chest.
Eliza crouched down in front of you and lifted your chin up with his index finger, grinning more than ever. Drips of river water fell onto your face, as he glared down at you from his hair, icy cold.
Chin up, darling. We're not done here yet.
He stifled another fit of laughter, trying to hold it in. If he laughed now, you'd lose consciousness all together and you'd be no fun.
he stood up again and took a few steps back before dee felt his legs ..twitch? No...this was slower, sluggish almost. He felt his legs slowly drag themselves underneath him and push himself up off the ground, completely out of his own control. It was horrible, knowing that something other than his own mind was controlling the way he moved. He unwillingly stood up and took a few steps towards Eliza, following him. It felt disgusting, vile even, feeling his legs move entirely on their own, knowing he had no control over where they'd go next.
Can't have you laying on the ground for too long, now can we?
Eliza chuckled before turning around to face you again, your legs somehow still holding you up. He glanced down at them and scoffed, clearly impressed by his own work.
Neat isn't it? Anyways, do you feel beautiful? Don't make me ask again.
nooonononoo-
His body shook, except for his legs. A stinging uncomfort as they stiffly held his weight. He couldnât move them himself. A sickening feeling, disgusting he should be used to this kind of thing by now, nauseatingâhe couldnât move, he couldnât.
Even though nothing was happening, you really could tell Dee was trying to take a step back. His mind screamed at him to do something, but what was the pint if he couldnât even back away? The tail whipping around behind him seemed to be where all that energy was going.
sstoo-sffuckinâ nooono..
It was all barely above a mutter, barely seemed directed at Eliza.
The lingering aroma of incense, must and sulfur suddenly filled the room you were standing in. You didn't own incense, and what on earth could be making the room smell musty and sulfur-y so suddenly?
Something was there.
