“Hey…” he leaned over the fence and smiled as his boyfriend looked up at him, “As if I’d be anywhere else,” he considered his sad brown eyes and shook his head softly, “I’m not here expecting anything other than maybe getting to see you play and ogling you in that uniform. I like you for you Stiles.”

               “It’s overheated,” Johnny drawled from his slouched position in the passenger’s seat, though he grinned as he did so. He only ever grinned in the face of adversity – maybe one day it would return the favour. In any case, he’d heard the engine, and even with his limited experience with cars he knew there wasn’t much to be done. He straightened up a bit, opening the Jeep door and kicking it out gently to get some air flowing. “Under this sun? Better just wait. Besides, I can think of a few things we could do. You don’t need a campsite to have all the pleasures of being in the great outdoors.” He opened the glovebox, looking for something stiff. A piece of card, a magazine, and he found it, fanning himself with it. “So if you don’t keep it in your glovebox where’s your porn stash?” he joked, legs swinging out of the Jeep and sliding out to lean against the side of the vehicle.
