Hey, everyone. It has been over a year since our last post, and that was about getting more active again a year ago.

We're real sorry that things have been so quiet on our end, and that we disappeared so suddenly and without explanation. Rest assured we are still here and you can still place orders on our bandcamp page and have them fulfilled and all that.

Alyssa (1/2 of Stickshift) has been suffering from a whole slew of chronic medical issues, which are as yet undiagnosed. Her symptoms started getting significantly worse in the winter of 2014 - 2015 and we got really quiet. A little over a year ago she began seeing specialists which gave us some hope we'd get noisy again in short order, but now this far in and we still haven't figured out what's going on with her health.

We appreciate all the support everybody has given us, but it's been absolutely fucking forever and we wanted to put something out there to make it clear that we haven't gone away forever, we just haven't had the bandwidth to put together any records for a while.

Hey we are still around! It’s been a long and cold winter and we haven’t done much for a while. We apologize! We will be doing some cool stuff again, soon!

Gorgon is going on an indefinite hiatus!

But they are playing one last show in Burlington, VT on Friday, December 19!

VT Thrash Punks Gorgon's debut album Secret is out NOW! Happy Halloween!

11 Tracks of songs about girl things and feelings, like concerns about surveillance culture and fighting back against street harassment!

We've done a limited pressing of 150 CDs with full-color inserts on this one, and we're super proud of how these look, sound, and of all the hard work Gorgon put into these songs. And if you order a CD and pay more than the asking price, you'll get a vinyl sticker in your order, too!

Big news for a Friday! We are pleased to announce that Gorgon's first full album is coming out in just one week! ON HALLOWEEN!

It'll be available as a download on bandcamp and on a CD with a full color insert! We made 150 of those bad girls and they'll be available for mail order and at shows and events where we and/or Gorgon are tabling.

We'll be putting out a full album by the VT thrash punk band Gorgon (full disclosure: Kelly at SSR is in Gorgon). The album will be out later this year (final release date TBA) and will be an initial printing of somewhere around 200 CDs and an online stream/download. The album will be called "Secret".

This Punk Rock Block Party is part of the South End Art Hop in Burlington this year! It's a basement show and a BBQ, and it's all ages and sub free.

The flier says potluck, but there will be some free hot dogs and vegan dogs  (cooked on separate grills) until they run out. If liked Black Rabbit on our recent compilation, come on out and support them!

We just updated our merch page on bandcamp! Now, in addition to downloads, you can mail order CD copies of all three of our comps, including the brand new one, Weapons of Construction.

Stickshift Fest was amazing. Thank you to everyone who came out to the show, to the ten incredible bands who played, and to all of the staff at The Monkey House. Also thanks to Advance Music for providing the backline, and to Big Heavy World and MSR Presents for helping get the word out. So many feelings right now, but this was the best night ever. Thanks for celebrating our birthday in style with us. Maybe we'll do it again next year.

Stickshift Fest is in just three days! We have loads to do to get everything ready, but we can't wait for this to happen - it's going to be SO AWESOME.

We will have THREE different compilation CDs available at the fest FOR FREE (but we will take donations) featuring more than 30 amazing bands and almost 50 songs! One of these is a fresh re-pressing of our first comp, and one of them is a BRAND NEW UNRELEASED COMP that we've put together for the fest!

We'll also have super cool Stickshift Recordings patches printed by our friends at Remote Screen Printing in Fayston, VT for $1.

And of course, we'll have ALL of this at an 8 HOUR show with 10 BANDS!

Apologies for the lack of updates! We've been busy making CDs! We had an unfortunate hardware issue with our fancy new CD production tower and had to re-do a bunch of them. But they are ready to get packed up. We'll have these ready to go at Stickshift Fest on 8/2
