Planning my wedding is the biggest headache ever. Kyrie is no help.

“I don’t know if it’s because it’s from here, but that strawberry tasted way better than the ones I’ve ever eaten at home,” chuckles and eats the pineapple. “See the pineapple spears are heavenly, I don’t know why even though they taste the same,” moves your arm so to make a little room before sitting on your lap and taking the container of fruit from you. She bites into another strawberry before looking up at him and feeds him the other piece, “you like the melon?”

"That's 'cause our produce is off the shits," He shook his head before he grabbed a pineapple, popping it into his mouth. As he chewed, he watched as she moved onto his lap, and nodded before he wrapped an arm around her, eating the strawberry she fed to him. "Yea'. I like honeydew melon, tho'. Cantaloupe isn't my thing."

“That’s because they want to make it seem as though they’re so fancy and they like to use big words too,” nods as she pushes the tray to the side in front of them. Chuckles at the complaining and wraps my lips around the strawberry taking a bite before pulling away. “Hm those are really yum, like extra sweet,” wipes some of juice from my lips and takes one of the pineapples from the container.

His eyes zeroed in as her plush lips wrapped around the fruit, his nostrils flaring a bit as he pulled the fruit away from her mouth, taking the rest of the berry for himself before popping it into his mouth, chewing slowly. "Yea'...I know what's sweeter," He mumbled to himself before he cleared his throat. He was trying not to be his usual lecherous self, but as always he found it difficult not to be in her presence.

“Hm melon’s not really my favorite, it doesn’t have a taste for me and I really like sweet fruit. Hm I’ve never really known that. Thank you. So basically it’s like party food then?” Nods in understanding as she hesitantly bites a piece of the food not really sure of how she’ll react after chewing it for a couple seconds trying to get a taste of it. “Um.. The beginning is not all that bad, but the ending is very… Not delightful. How about we rule that out for the night?” Chuckles watching you drink some of the water.

"That's basically what it is, party food. You just made it so simple. I swea'; bougie ass white folk got a name for everything," He complained. The complaints seemed to continue once they ate the unknown food, shaking his head as he uncapped a bottle of water, taking a sip. "Yea', I'm not fuckin' with that. Here," He reached over and grabbed the bowl of fruit and took off the top of the container. He grabbed a strawberry and held it up towards her lips.

“Ohhh they have both? That’s amazing, those are my favorites too. The only other alternative to those are grapes. oh yeah I’m scared to try them. You have to try them with me,” takes the tray of foreign named food out sitting it down on the blanket. Picks two up and hands one to you before waiting for you, “okay so on Three I guess we can go? One… Two…”

"Yea', there's that and grapes and melon in there," He nodded as he watched her pulled out the carton of food that was exclusive to the area. "Oh no, that's not the hors d'oeuvres. Hors d'oeuvres means...uh...it's basically like lil ass food. Like cheese and crackers, and lil' ass sammiches. It's a phrase, not really a specific food. But this...I don't know what this is, but it's a hometown favorite so I thought we could try it," He nodded before he took one of the morsels in his hand. Vita counted off for them to try the food. "Three," He stuffed it into his mouth before he chewed, nodding slowly. "It's got potato," He mumbled as he chewed. Suddenly, a surge of spice fille his mouth, and he groaned as he puckered his lips, reaching for a bottle of water. "Okay there's spicy and then there's this shit. What the fuck?"

“Hey, it doesn’t have to be a lot, I like it,” chuckles, “I like romantic you and I like this whole set it’s really cute. But Khi, I don’t know what an hor d'oeuvre is. I’ve heard it on like tv and stuff, but I have no idea what it actually is.” Looks over at you before reaching into the basket picking up two of the sandwiches, “I like this all,” smiles as I eat one of the sandwiches. Squints at you for a second, “what kind of fruit did you bring exactly? I wanna know if you know my favorite because fruit is very essential to life babe.”

"I really don't know. I asked this white lady today for somethin' for a date like this and she damn near exploded tryna sell me this shit," He shrugged before laughing, grabbing a sandwich from her once she picked them out of the basket. "Uh...shit, I really just got a seasonal fruit mix. I know it got like strawberries and pineapples and there, 'cause you eat them shits all the time."

Once you sit me down to me feet, I look at you and smile. “This is really beautiful and nice, especially the food and the flower petals.” Walks closer to it before tugging you hand before I sit down on to the Blanket. “Thank you, I really appreciate the fact that you did this for me,” peeks into the ice chest then the basket. “You did really good,” smiles waiting for you to sit next to me.

He nods before he chuckled to himself. "This is me tryna be romantic. It ain' much but...you know. Had to put the moves on ya while we on vacation," He laughed to himself as he slipped off his socks and sneakers, easing himself onto the blanket with her before he nodded. "You welcome, baby. Anything for ya," He said before he leaned over and softly kissed her neck. Once he pulled away, he reached across her to open the basket. "Okay, it's hella late so I wasn't tryna get no heavy food. I got fruit, some like...lil ass finger sammiches. Crackers and cheese...tried to be all fancy. I can't remember what this shit is called - hors d'oeuvres or some shit."

“Yeah, I can understand that. Did you get a chance to go see her before we all left for the trip?” Looks over at you as I hold your hand in my own. “You know if you’re not okay, it’s okay right? Everything’s not okay all the time.”

"Yeah, I went and I visited her," He nodded as he felt her hand ran over the central console, taking his hand into hers. He laced his fingers with her own before he glanced over at her, listening to her words before he nodded. "Honestly...I'm not okay. But the world gon' spin with or without me. I gotta push through it," He admitted.

“Well that’s cool,” she moves some of her hair out of her face as she watches you walk around. “Um it’s been okay for the most part, mostly just enjoying the peace, the quiet, the relaxing element. How has yours been? You enjoyed the trip?”

He continues to drive, trying to remember the directions towards the beach. "It was coo'. Today was kind of a fucked up day for obvious reasons," He said before he shook his head. "So I kinda just chilled today. My baby been on my mind all day so I ain' do much," He admitted before he shook his head, giving a small smile. "But I'm determined to make tonight somethin' nice for both of us," He said as he parked at the beach.

“Thank you baby, you do too,” smiles and squeezes your hand lightly once he takes her hand. “Where exactly are we going?” Looks up at you as we start walking.

“We goin’ to the beach,” He said with a nod before he led her over to where they could get off of the boat, seeing the car in the distance before nodding, leading her over to it. “Nothin’ too serious,” He assured before opening the passenger door for her.

“That seems like fun though, well to me it does,” nods as we walk to the car. “Ohhh This is nice,” chuckles and gets into the car once you open the door. Puts my seatbelt on before waiting for you to get in the car.

"Yea'. I got a couple connects and they got me this rental for the evenin'," He said before he jogged around to the driver's side, getting in before getting into the car. He shut the door before buckling up, starting the car before pulling off quickly. "How was your day today, tho'?"

“Thank you baby, you do too,” smiles and squeezes your hand lightly once he takes her hand. “Where exactly are we going?” Looks up at you as we start walking.

"We goin' to the beach," He said with a nod before he led her over to where they could get off of the boat, seeing the car in the distance before nodding, leading her over to it. "Nothin' too serious," He assured before opening the passenger door for her.

@delavitaaa | Once Khi got himself dressed and together, he walked out of his room and headed to the deck of the boat, yawning softly as he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He pulled it out before he checked the message that popped up on his phone, and he smirked a bit before he replied quickly, sliding it in his pocket before he waited.

Vita walks out of her room making sure she has her keys and everything before making her way to the deck. Smiles as she sees you with your back towards her and walks behind you before tapping your shoulder.

He glanced over his shoulder before he smirked, nodding as he turned around. He allowed his eyes to look over her outfit. "You look good," He mumbled before he leaned down and placed a smooth kiss to her lips before pulling back slowly, grabbing her hand. "A'ight, let's be out - the car waiting on us."
