🐈⬛ ྀི this man is hopelessly devoted to you, so whether you be the one to propose living together, or him...he will immediately say yes, double checking for your consent and straight up leaving california (or part of california, depending on how far you live) to be with you.
🐈⬛ ྀི you joked about ikea when you guys sat up chillin & talkin on the day he 'climbed through your window'. so, on one of those ordinary nights when you wanted him to come over, he lays up next to you in bed, scrolling on his phone, searching for the perfect desk to setup his things, as well as a nice shelf for his figurines and plushies and a set chest o drawers so he didn't hog all of your bedroom space (you let him put all of it in the spare room you didn't use)
🐈⬛ ྀི it's official; after a few days you an micah now live together, and whether it's cringing at eachother's corny jokes, curled up on the couch with a book, or challenging him in 1 v 1s while skrunkly curls up in his lap, it's actually a pretty fun coexistence.
🐈⬛ ྀི he willingly takes up the cooking when you don't want to, but when you aren't too tired from work, you will throw down for him too. his absolute favorite dish that you've cooked for him (that has him wanting to propose for a 3rd time), was a nice bowl of lemon-garlic, salmon pasta (and since he's a bit of a health nut) w/ steamed and seasoned broccoli. and in true micah fashion he likes to tease: "well, how is it?" you say with a hip cocked out and your arms crossed lightly in front of you because you already knew the food was fire. "eh, it's alright~ ya know I could do better." he'd say but you look down at his plate and there's not a speck of food in sight. mans licked it clean while you were taking care of the remainder of the dishes. "mmmhm~" is all he receives back, looking flustered when you kiss his cheek lovingly and offer him a bowl of homemade peach cobbler and ice cream.
🐈⬛ ྀི speaking of which, both of you together are some snack fiends. yes. you share the pantry, but you also have those little trollies at your respective desks lined with snacks, and in different colors so it isn't confusing. his is pastel green and yours is in your favorite color. but his ass will come up to you like an annoying sibling talkin bout "i've never had [insert fav snack before]." and you begrudgingly give him some while grumbling something along the lines of 'i can't have shit in this house.' to which he giggles like a goober and nuzzles up to you before hopping back to his desk like a schoolgirl.
🐈⬛ ྀི but he's not just a menace, he considerate too. so any snacks he 'borrows' from you, he replaces it on your cart before you can say anything AND he lets you come over anytime to snatch up one of his snack or drinks from the shared mini fridge.
🐈⬛ ྀི we cannot forget about lil skrunkly, micah's older kitty (who he definitely calls you 'mama' to). she has a habit of following him wherever he goes in your home, but she does spend time with you on occasions. like when you feel like you're gonna tear your hair out because of a dumb mf at work, or if you find yourself singing and folding and washing laundry, she's there to keep you company and enjoy the safety you bring to her life. micah noticed it of course, both of you getting along in your own little ways, because you both can be some grumpy ahhs cats. that's one of the reasons why he loves you both so damn much (he also took a photo of her curled up on your chest while both of your were asleep...her head laying in the crook of your neck, and made it his screensaver)
🐈⬛ ྀི of course there are times when you both wanna unwind and have some alone time. as much as micah loves his furry daughter, he enjoys having shared intimate moments with you too. like when you decide to shower together, it's been months since you got together so all shyness is out of the window... both of you will take your time, taking off your clothes at a leisurely pace and throwing them in the hamper to wash later. he's already set the water to a happy medium of how you both like it. with the utmost care, he'll tuck your curls and coils underneath one of your showercaps (it was the powerline themed one you gifted yourself as a treat), and you do the same, gathering his beautiful thick hair into his own showercap (it was a custom printed one that you got for him on your 1 month anniversary; with a picture of skrunkly). you hop into the shower with him not too far behind. he'll hold onto you, all tall and lean muscle against your back, kissing your shoulders and your neck with soft, full lips. you release a content sigh while he does this and you grab both of your net sponges plus your bodywash that he can't get enough of, scrubbing away the grime of the day in blissful silence or teasing the hell out of each other and flirting like its day 1 all over again.
🐈⬛ ྀི he's an absolute life saver on wash day, and you have no problem reciprocating the love and attentiveness for taking down, detangling and moisturizing each other's hair before washing. he's always honest when he says he adores having you sit in his lap or between his legs with the music turned up or your show on, as he massages your scalp while detangling, unbraiding, or helping to style your hair. and he won't admit it, but he can be tender headed, and tries to play it off cool, but if you pull just the slightest bit harder than expected he'll whine and act like you killed him (i personally hc that he has like 4a/4b type of hair)
🐈⬛ ྀི overall micah can be a living ball of chaotic and quirky energy (and maybe on the spectrum which is totally fine, and i respect it); he wants/loves to see you happy, and wants to continue being his happy self. even though you're quick to threaten to ship him to tibet or sum shii when he's a little too much of a smartass, you honestly believe you bring out the best in each other and understand each other in a way that makes living with him, never a dull moment.
