Unflinching Optimism (:

“اللهم ان رأيتني ابتعد عنك فردني اليك ردا جميلا”

If you ask God to lead you, don’t be surprised when He leads you to make sacrifices, when He leads you to dark times, when He leads you to uncomfortable situations. It’s those things that make us want to cling closer to God.

Don’t keep asking why bad things happen to good people. The Almighty has promised us that we will all be tested. He puts us through tests because He knows when you’re at your lowest that you’re most likely to get closer to Him.

“No amount of physical beauty will ever be as valuable as a beautiful heart.”

Learn to be alone and to like it. There’s nothing more freeing and empowering than learning to like your own company.

I found some friendships and behind their eyes and their kindness I found God. Isn’t that the most beautiful thing?

We might think that the meditative state is something we can grasp onto, solidify, and possess, but that is actually not the case. Our practice is to touch in, make contact, and let go, over and over again - that is the rhythm of awareness.

Don’t ever think that placing your forehead on the ground to beg Him to mend your heart and pray for the forgiveness of those who shattered it is a sign of weakness. Praying for the well-being  of those who broke you when you’re closest to God, causes the mountains to crumble in awe.

Keep in mind, your happiness is something only you are allowed to define, don’t let other’s actions or words bring you down. It’s your story and you are holding the pen with His permission.

I appreciate the people I lose a connection with but gain a lesson from.

It will keep hurting you, until you let go and there remains nothing in the heart but Him. Once that happens you will no longer love for your own sake. Everything you want, love, or hate will be for, through and by Him.
