- yall met in grade nine when you both showed up for junior band after school and were seated beside each other in the brass
- to you, she radiated sunshine, always making you laugh and feel good when you were around her
- you realized you liked her around halloween
- you both went to a halloween party thrown by a mutual friend, not too dressed up but enough to be clearly dressed as something
- zoe saw you sitting on the couch looking through some old pictures on your phone and drinking something Jared had mixed for you promising you it would make you feel really good but all you’d felt is bored
- you guys talked up a storm until some other people came over forcing you two to take part in a huge game of truth or dare
- Zoe was the first to be asked and being the free spirit she is, she picked dare. her dare was to kiss you, which turned your cheeks to the colour of freshly picked tomatoes
- she just said “okay.” and turn to you, diving into a kiss which caught you by surprise but you kissed back faster than you were aware, causing her delicate hands to get tangled in your hair
- from then on you were girlfriends, but didn’t officially clarify, it was just more simple for you two to just be.
