the point of making stuff is to say the most complicated thing with the least amount of gestures, or to say the least complicated thing with the most amount of gestures. anything else is too confusing. wade guyton for example has such a successful career despite aesthetic idiocy because he’s just so good at both of those things. of course this is like only considering commercial success or even mm canonical / “critical” consideration which of course is not even interesting but this is just my opinion on why some people just can’t achieve that status. too confusing! maybe as time goes on people can think more simply around your ideas and that’s how people become ahead of their time. ok now I feel better because I completed a thought.
