You probably know this trick by now, but just in case here's a little tip. Everyday on your island, 15 branches, one stone and a maximum of 6 fossils can spawn.

You probably are filled to the brim with branches by now, and most likely are done with your fossil collection, so there's not really a need for you to keep picking up these items.

Something you can do to keep your island clean and avoid the random spawns, is to pick up each one of these items, and drop them off behind a cliff:

You have to bury all 6 fossils, drop the stone, and drop every single branch individually. Dropping a stack of 15 branches won't work. They have to be individual.

This way, the items won't respawn anywhere else. I suggest cliffs because of the amount of items, but you can hide these wherever you want, behind houses or stores etc.
