I keep seeing all these Pokemon variations and I just wanted to take a stab at it with my favorite ; w ; Ok back to sleep, double ear infection still going strong…

The other day I had an idea to draw all the Overwatch heroes with their main Pokemon if they had one 8) Most of them work perfectly together, so I paired them all up and I’ll be drawing them. First one - Junkrat and Cubone! Considered Raticate, but Cubone is more of Junkrat’s personality type 8D
While we agree Cubone looks cool with Junkrat, I have to admit I thought he’d have a fire type. Oh those crazy Aussies

...what? Let's see:
Cubone: The lonely Pokemon. Depressed, quiet (except for crying at night time), introverted, selfish, no family, lives in mountains and caves. Neutral alignment.
Junkrat: The overly-friendly Hero. Joyful, loud (except for sleeping at night time), extroverted, not selfish (not selfless either but still he happily split his findings with Roadhog 50/50), came from a large community of junkers and now travels with Roadhog as his "business" partner, from the Australian wastelands. Chaotic alignment.
They honestly couldn't be any more different. This wouldn't work in a million years. Junkrats constant explosions would freak out a Cubone who prefers the quiet and Cubones crying at night would wake up both Junkrat and Roadhog on their travels (the latter of which I don't think would like very much). Cubones live in caves and mountains, which Australia doesn't have a lot of (maybe caves, IDK) but regardless most Pokemon would've been wiped out by the fusion core detonation and the resulting lingering radiation.
A Pokemon that makes sense for Junkrat? Koffing. Maybe even Golem. A Koffing could survive said detonation and continue to live in the toxicity as it's already a poison Pokemon. Steel types would also be present as they're immune to Poison. Plus Koffing has Self-Destruct, arguably the most "Junkrat" move in the game. Golem doesn't fit as well but I just really like the idea of a Golem rolling alongside a riptire and then both exploding at the same time.
I also agree that a fire type would fit well (explosions, his hair is perpetually singed...) but none would have survived the radiation. Unless he caught it after they left Australia but thats no fun.
