any recommendations for a line cook who works in a hot kitchens for 9 hours a day, 5 days a week?

i swear my skin feels oily and dry at the same time always…

I’ve got a sort of base for what I can recommend without you coming in for an appointment but feel free to visit us at the PTMC so we can get a more detailed list! (With actual product recommendations)

9hrs of heat evaporates your skin’s water, so your pores pump oil to compensate, that’s probably why you feel that way If I were to give a routine recommendation I’d saaay

1) Cream Cleanser (instead of any other version to stop the harsh scrubbing, it’s trashing your barrier.)

2) Niacinamide (regulates oil & calms heat redness)

3) Gel Moisturizer (Hydrates without the greasy feel)

4) aaaaand Hypochlorous Acid Spray (Mist mid-shift to kill bacteria & sweat irritation)

Hi Stella. How's everything going? Listen, I’m a surgeon: I scrub for a living, I'm definitely not dirty!! I use a cleanser, sometimes some sunscreen, I spend all day in an OR without windows, I always forget. Anyways.
