CHAMPION.

    “ i always someone manage to run into someone while out looking for rare stones...” steven looks weary, but still amused. the champion has spent his whole morning in chargestone cave. he gives the girl a look up and down, and then brushes his hands on his pants before holding one out to shake. how classy. “ you look like a strong trainer. my name’s steven. do you visit the cave often? ”

     “ so this is a galarian rapidash? i have to admit, this is my first time seeing one! ” steven seems to be captivated with the pokemon for a moment before the trainer, though his attention quickly turns to the other. “ looks like quite the strong pokemon. and you look like a strong trainer! ” he offers a smile to the boy. “ sorry if i’m being rude. my name’s steven. i’m from the hoenn region.” 

     “... oh, you! i can’t seem to shake the feeling that we’ve run into each other before.”  steven looks perplexed for a moment then continues to be deep in thought ... much to think about. 

      “ i greatly appreciate the chance to meet you, mr. rose. ”  the hoenn champion extends his hand to the other,  “ i’m sure you know already, but i’m steven stone. it’s a pleasure.”  steven had come to galar for a few reasons ... one, as a representative for devon corp. and two, to take advantage of his time here to do some research of his own!  although his first order of business was to attend the meeting scheduled with the chairman of the galar pokemon league.
