Ohhh, buddy. You just handed me a microphone and zero supervision.

Short answer: We’re looking for the kind of weird that fits in Hawkins without exploding it.

Long answer:

Grounded residents: the kids, teens, adults who make the town feel alive. The ones with jobs, drama, secrets, and questionable coping mechanisms.

Trouble magnets: the “I swear I’m normal” types who somehow end up in the woods at 3 AM with a flashlight and a bad idea.

Soft chaos gremlins: the ones who aren’t villains but should probably be supervised.

Villains or morally crunchy types: because Hawkins needs antagonists who aren’t just eldritch horrors.

Adults who actually adult: teachers, cops, bartenders, mechanics, the people who keep the town running while the teens fight monsters.

Lonely hearts and found‑family candidates: Hawkins thrives on connections, and we love characters who plug into the ensemble.

Basically: If they feel real, if they bring story, if they add texture to the town, I want them. If they’re a walking red flag with no brakes? …also yes. But I’ll pretend to think about it first.

So! He’s on the Taken Faceclaim List because he’s an NPC/Admin, not a playable resident. Same goes for the WSQK radio host, June Hollister. Both of them live in the “admin‑handled chaos gremlins” category, not the “come apply for this guy” category.

The actual Taken Character List, the one for current Hawkins residents, is fully up to date. If you’re browsing for who’s open, there are two cannon pages. One for Kids/Teens and the other for Adults.
