        A  light  chuckle  escapes  her  lips .    How  daft  it  was ,  that  they  could  make  jokes  in  a  state  of  such  danger .    Of  course ,  this  was  how  they  lived .    It  was ,  in  fact ,  how  Evie  always  lived .    The  assassin  steps  ‘round  the  table ,  moving  to  stand  beside  Lara  as  hues  of  azure  once  more  flit  to  the  pages  before  them .        ❛    This  one  ..  is  deconstructed .    ---    I  assume  the  rest  of  the  pieces  aren’t  far  from  each  other ,  as  they  would  be  useless  without  one  another .    ---    The  Brotherhood  could  never  recover  the  entire  item  from  a  series  of  hidden  underground  caverns  throughout  Europe .    Pieces  still  remain  missing .    ❜        She’s  been  pointing  towards  what  appeared  to  have  once  been  a  crown .    Soon ,  her  finger  slides  across  the  page ,  landing  on  another  item :  a  mirror .        ❛    This ,  however ,  is  in  one  piece .    ❜        Thankfully .    They  didn’t  need  any  more  bad  luck .

        ❛    Ah ,  ah ,  ah !    ❜        Evie  points  to  her  daughter’s  attire ,  shaking  her  head  and  clicking  her  tongue  (  disapprovingly  )    against  the  roof  of  her  mouth .        ❛    ---    Bloody  garments  do  not  come  into  the  kitchen .    Laundry  room ,  then  you  can  come  and  sit  for  tea .    ❜

        ❛    ---    You  look  like  you  were  plotting  .    ❜        Evie  watches  Eden  get  up  and  leaves  the  tavern ,  leaving  only  Brooke  sitting  at  the  table ,  smiling  to  herself .    She  swears ,  when  those  two  got  together ,  things  never  ended  well .    It  was  quite  like  her  and  Jacob ,  except  anyone  could  be  the  possible  victim  of  their  antics .        ❛    You’re  not  about  to  torment  poor  Edward  again ,  are  you ?    ❜

        The  assassin  frowns ,  placing  her  cup  on  the  counter  beside  her  for  a  moment .    She  takes  a  few  steps ,  only  to  retrieve  a  book  that  had  been  sitting  on  the  table  nearby .    (  --  along  with  her  blades  )    She  flips  through  several  pages ,  soon  sliding  the  opened  book  towards  Lara .        ❛    There  are  several  pieces  of  Eden  still  rumored  to  be  real  and  unrecovered .    ---    Do  you  recognize  any  of  these ?    ❜        She  knows  what  Trinity  is  after ,  and  she  also  knows  that  there  is  a  real  risk  of  them  stumbling  upon  a  piece  of  Eden .    ❛    ..    I  might  come  with  you  if  you  do .    Split  off  to  get  a  piece  of  Eden  while  you  deal  with  other  matters .    ❜

        ❛    No  guns  on  the  counter ,  love .    ❜        She  lets  out  a  chuckle ,  gesturing  towards  her  hidden  blades ,  which  were  lain  with  care  on  a  nearby  tabletop .    Evie  is  finishing  up  making  tea  for  Lara ,  sashaying  around  the  large  kitchen  with  a  kettle  in  hand .    She  was  in  a  rather  chipper  mood ,  seeing  as  she  had  time  to  do  research    and    press  flowers  that  morning .    Pouring  tea  into  a  cup  for  Lara ,  the  assassin  leans  against  the  counter  before  passing  the  beverage  to  her .        ❛    ---    How  was  target  practice ?    ..    I  was  thinking  of  doing  some  training  in  a  bit ,  if  you’d  care  to  join .    ❜
