  A jaw that naturally hung lower than any other there, and eyes that glowed like before. An endoskeleton fitted just right, fitting easily with the help of the excess “ flesh “ and surrounded by a safe protection of metal tubes. It had been a safety precaution and often than not, so the expensive material didn’t get torn up. 

                         At least, that had been Foxy’s guess.

  His sight had been bad, as was his hearing. Both faded in comparison to before and never did the company fool with it. “ It never was in their budget, “ they would say. “ It’s not worth the time, “ they would say. 

  Foxy never once would complain, for there was worse. At the very least, the company did not make him be a “ break-and-build “ toy. Despite not having emotions, there always was a bit of pity when it came to the one before him. Mangle, but never once did he like to call them that. 

  Loud footsteps against the tiles underneath, his posture stiff and in place. His long leather coat flowed rigidly with him. Amber eyes had themselves set, knowing his routine. When he was active, he’d always go to see Mangle, his friend and one of the few who he could consider that. 

        “ M - M - Mangle. “

  Foxy would call out multiple times ( the best he could with having a broken voice box ), shuffling along into Kid’s Cove where he knew Mangle to be. Turning and continue his shuffle when he had arrived outside, he had managed at least halfway into Kid’s Cove and stopped in that place. 

       “ Mangle. Mangle. M - M - M - Mangle. “

  Foxy kept repeating for those few times, eyesight just enough to see the familiar outline. 

– ♐ “Foxy.”

  The animatronic knew who it was from the voice immediately, jumping down from their hiding place. They weren't in the mood for the others, but Foxy was always an exception. Everything except Mangle's head was bundled up in baggy clothing, and that was how they liked it. Too many mechanical parts showing in tears of the skin..

  It had been a bad day for Mangle, the brats had gotten on their last nerve. One of them had the nerve to try and pop their eyes out, as it was every day. Another kid stuck a finger up their nostrils. Most of the time, Mangle just dealt with it and blew off steam later. 

– ♐ “I suppose...there was one who tried to pull out my teeth, but he ' managed ' to get a nasty cut on his hand, that was enough to keep the others bothering me for the rest of the day.”

  Of course, there were still lines that had to be drawn. True, the executives weren't happy, but how dumb did you have to be to stick your hand in an animal's mouth? Mangle could have risked being accused of moving, but they did it just right, where nobody else saw them move their maw.

  One good thing about being  considered a mess of parts, is they were never held accountable for things that went wrong. It was always the fault of the employees, which was how it should be, they were the reason that everyone was just barely functioning.
