"Training? Training for what?" Ruby asked her ears twitching a little. "There’s a few hotels around here but that’s all I know about." The wolf girl wondered if she was being stared at, she wondered if her appearance shocked the other girl. It was something she was used to in worlds that weren’t her own, but typically most humans for her world were used to her. The young she-wolf felt her stomach twist into knots when she noticed people were giving her a few looks and shoved her knit hat on her head self-consciously. 

Ruby listened carefully to what the girl said and tilted her head a little at the mention of the word "Witch". Where she came from that word wasn't a good word to call a magic user, especially considering the persecution they had been under at first. It wasn't the worst term, but still not the best. Things must have been different though considering how this girl acted. "I'm not sure about at Bed and Breakfast,  but I can always help you find one."  Ruby offered, tugging at the edges of her hat. She was still a little self-conscious about her ears since they did cause people to stare sometimes. The girl's next question didn't really help her already nervous mood. Ruby tugged the hat down onto her head further and bit her lip nervously. "Oh...I'm an alien, well half-alien."

Ruby had been wandering around this city for weeks now, managing to survive mostly by her wits and her speed. The wolf girl didn’t like to steal, but she had to sometimes in order to survive. Hunting wasn’t her forte so the closest she could get to a good meal was by swiping stuff from random passers by. Most of the time it was food from carts but it wasn’t like they were going to miss one hotdog. For the most part, Ruby knew everything about this city and was more than likely an ideal guide for someone who looked just as lost as the girl who stood before her. The wolf girl wasn’t going to steal from her or anything of that nature. Ruby just wanted to help. "Umm.. excuse me," Ruby stammered out as she approached the girl. Her eyes focussed on her. There was a considerable amount of caution in those green eyes of hers, but there was a kindness as well. "Do you need any help?"

She jumped, startled by the stranger approaching her.  ”I—I beg your pardon?”  It took a while for her to process the words of the other girl…who had cat ears on her head.  ”No, actually, uh, I just got here and, well…I’m looking around for a place to stay while I do my training here for a year.”

It seemed to be the status quo of things, Yoshiki taking care of this lost little she-wolf as though she were family, taking her to be reunited with the one both of them seemed to be separated from. Of course, that…

Ruby’s eyes darted every direction, her ears twitching wildly as she did so.  Everything here was different and new, she wanted to learn about all of it, but at the same time she was absolutely terrified of it. A pair of green eyes looked up at the Grimalkin with a mixture of childlike curiosity and pure unbridled fear. “I- I – I’m fine!” The Pup stammered out, her fur prickled with the electricity that had started building up. Her emotions were running high, her heart thudded in her chest loudly, generating who knows how much electricity inside her tiny form.
